Hey, I'm a quiet and all round shy person irl and so someone suggested blogging in order to try improve my confidence. I have no idea what the protocol is with posting links on this forum but I'll assume it's fine. If anyone want's to check out my anime blog then feel free to: http://www.baileytalksanime.blogspot.co.uk/

I plan on posting on it every day and currently even have a backlog of topics to talk about, so perhaps 2 posts a day for a while. Please try not to be too harsh, I'm way too nervous as it is just making this thread :P

Does anyone else on here have a blog? Is blogging a waste of time? I'm only trying it on recommendation and I've literally just started.

I checked out your blog and it's actually pretty good, I think you should continue blogging. Also now that you gave your impressions on plastic memories, are you going to post a review when it's done ?

As long as you have an opinion, I'd say you're qualified!

Anyways - good stuff! Will make sure to keep myself updated on your blog

You posted the link on this particular section of the forums, so it's fine, I think, maybe. I don't know. It doesn't matter, I believe, possibly. What the hell was I... oh, even with a backlog, you may be better off working one at a time. Put some hugs 'n' love into your thoughts individually, rather than rushing to earn the daily double and potentially burning yourself out. Even if you enjoy something, there is still too much of a good thing. I ruined myself on Fire Emblem because I was... sorry, I'm derailing my train of thought. Probably someone's penny for my thoughts was left on the track and I... did it again. Sorry. Sorry. I was typing something about, um, yeah, I blog. I tried making it into a daily project, then I noticed my content sounded near identical with each piece. I still have those posts, you know, for glancing over in the future, but I keep all those particular posts in draft form. Now, I try to mix things up a bit, a little, a schoach, a speck, a smidgen. Most of them are just my impressions of video games I've played, and most of those mosts are mostly a month-long mostfest of mostering (with awful MSPaint images). Are they a waste of time? Absolutely! I don't make any money off of them, and I put in minimal effort to promote my work, despite the hours (sometimes weeks or months) I put into the content, so few actually read my work (or understand it, for that matter). Still, it's done for my own enjoyment, so it's time well wasted. The best thing to remember about blogging a blog on your blog, is that it's your blog to blog on, so if you are proud of what you've blogged on the blog, then that's really all that blogs matters. Your voice, your opinions, and no other moderation outside of that. Afraid to share your views on a particular thread here on the forums? In public? With friends and family? With that one-eyed dog who keeps lying out in the middle of neighborhood road when you're trying to get to your home, but you always end up having to stop, get out, and shoo him away to do so? Then do it on your own terms, without worry. Someone else reads it and agrees? Even better! Doesn't? They can post their own elsewhere!

~too long; didn't read/comprehend~

If it makes you happy, keep with it, and update the work at your leisure. That's all that matters. I'll check it out soon enough. Have a splendiferously wontastic and/or spiffy day.
