Oh man, I do love me some Fraggles too. Need to figure out how to get my kids into the Fraggles as...we own all of it on DVD!

This weekend was a busy mess - Saturday: Visit to Sesame Place for opening day; Sunday: My oldest's 7th birthday party. He turns 7 on Wednesday.

And this week is promising to be a blur too. PTA meeting tonight, my son's actual birthday Wednesday. Man...craziness abounds!

Sounds like you'll have another busy week then eh? Hope it won't be too bad and you'll get some time to relax a bit. Always need that! Happy Birthday to your son! Did he have a good party?

What's "time to relax" :P

He had a lot of fun. It was a Mario themed birthday party. My Mrs made a question box pinata for him

I would love to see the pinata if you have pics! I wish I would have thought of this when we did a Mario theme!

First of all, your daughter is adorable! I miss my daughter being so small. The pinata is awesome! I better not let my son see this or he will tell me I dropped the ball haha. That is so creative and cool. I would never have thought to make one!

It went okay - until I had to leave. I have to periodically travel for work and this work trip happened to fall on me leaving the evening of Mother's Day. So, I'm out of town now and my wife is home with all 4 kids! I feel awful when I have to go, but it's a sacrifice we decided on together as the salary I make at this job is why she can afford to stay home.

I am sure that she understands it is just as hard on you and appreciates the option to remain home I am sure she was thankful for having you home during the first part of the day. My better half is a business consultant and travels constantly. He is in California more than he is here at times. But I always think about how exhausting it must be for him. It does allow for my part time schedule thank goodness. With my condition, I have no idea how we would make it without his job. We are blessed. I also have learned to allow the time apart to bring us closer. We started off in a long distance relationship though so it is easy to appreciate the time :)

Just saying hello It seems things might slow down a bit online with Summer moving in. Does anyone have any nice plans or trips scheduled?

Nothing planned at the moment, but I think my husband would like to go camping again. We didn't go last year, and he mentioned it a while ago. Also, have to make time to redecorate my oldest daughter's room. Her sister got her room done last year, so now she wants hers to look pretty too. He doesn't want to do it though.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. The kids get a long weekend because of Victoria Day on Monday. Your holiday is not until the end of the month right? Next weekend?

Yeah, our holiday is on the 30th so we will get a 3 day weekend. No plans for the summer. My better half travels so frequently and my son goes to his father's for a portion. It can be hard to make any real plans. We usually try to schedule a trip to the coast or something towards the end of summer when everyone is back. I will also take advantage of the time and do some cleaning and arranging as able

I've got family coming in for Memorial Day. We're going to be building a pool deck.

Also...this week has been spent deep cleaning the house for the visitors arriving! Busy times.

The weather has been nice and everyone is much better I hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend. My son will be leaving in a few weeks for an extended summer visit with his father, and he is not accepting this well. I may not be around as much for a bit while I spend some QT with him and try to help him mentally prepare. Keep my seat warm
