People who like child porn regardless if its animated or real should go to hell and rot. Thats nasty

I think it is wrong to say that about people who like that stuff for fictional and illustrated/animated characters, and only fictional characters and don't cross it over to real life. A whole lot of those people object to such things IRL, don't target or consider going after real life minors and are not really threats to them. I just think your sentiments are really harsh and that is an emotional response, rather than a rational one.

People who are into that stuff involving real life minors/people who are into real life minors...sure, go ahead, blast insults at them. That is a lot worse than liking fictional characters who are minors.

So he didn't scare any children. He didn't rape any children. He didn't physically harm any children and he wasn't seen with any children.

But because he's in position of photographs of children, people think he's some irredeemable bastard that deserves death and whatever the world wants to throw at him. But whenever a government commits genocide/murder/theft/treason, these people on here want to peacefully protest? Because violence brings more violence?

What.

No.

Crunchyroll, no, no, no.

Not even close.

I read these comments and I feel like people just get off on finding an opportunity to blast insults on people they don't even know. That's what's disgusting to me.

Wow I am surprised he did not get more time. I would have given him at least five years.

These are the kinda people I don't want to benefit from those of us pushing for a better civilized world. To wish harm, murder and no freedom upon a man who has never harmed anyone or has done any villainous activities.

For anyone wishing him bad fortunate. For everything bad that has happened to you in your unfruitful life. You deserved it and you deserve all the turmoil you're going to get in the future.

Can I point out that paedophilia is more a kin to a mental disorder or disease than a chosen kink or "rush" that they get from doing something illegal. More current research points to mental disorder over disease but I can't wait to be blasted about this let a lone any sort of speculation.

Some of the people calling out for blood, death, or for him to go to hell is really going overboard Here's an article, http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/05/us/life-sentence-for-possession-of-child-pornography-spurs-debate.html, I found that people might enjoy reading that since it deals with the same subject. The guy was sentenced to a life sentence without parole for just possessing images and he also had to register as a sex offender. Per the article he never did anything else unlawful to include molestation or rape. As of right now it looks like they're trying to appeal the life sentence.

For the guy in Nova Scotia I'm surprised it said he could serve the 90 days on the weekends. Is that how jail time works in Canada or is that a special case?

Thank you guys for being reasonable and not out simply to hurt those who society deems alright to hurt. People so often resort to drastic measures in these areas that not only bring unreasonable suffering to the person in question, but also has a negative impact on things overall.

As long as people like him have a demand for child porn, innocent children will be hurt in creating it. It is sick that people are defending him.

Demand actually isn't something that is easy to gauge, given the underground and anonymous nature of the child pornography trade. When somebody uploads such content, they have no real way of knowing how many people download or view the material, and there is really next to no way for them to make money of off the venture, given that any transactions would be easy to track and pinpoint (including bitcoins and other virtual currencies).

I'm definitely not saying that CP is ok. That isn't even slightly what I am trying to say, and I feel that it is illegal for good reason*; put simply, I'm just saying that demand isn't something so powerful when it comes to the trade of such things, and that the current system focuses on making the perpetrators suffer rather than rehabilitating them.

*except for virtual pornography, such as lolicon materials, which I feel should be legal as no children are harmed in its production.

True, the judicial system isn't for punishment, but reform....

I've never understood where the line is when it comes to "weird" and mental disorder. Is it some quantifiable thing or is it subjective to what someone else sees as "normal". Then again, that's why I'm a mathematician and not a psychologist.....
