My older brother. I was literally afraid to be around him unless my parents were home. When they weren't, it was hell. He straight up kicked me hard in the stomach when I didn't hold a disc right. He would try to suffocate me to keep me from crying. -.- Does that count as child abuse?
I wouldn't qualify it as child abuse if your brother was just a few years apart from you....but it's still abuse. I have a brother like this. The abuse didn't stop until later in high school. It had a lot to do with the fact that I avoided all forms of contact with him. Even now I don't feel comfortable being in the same room as him. If your parents aren't doing anything about it (ie: beating him for it) call the police. I hate the fact that my friends have became acquainted with him and started to even become friends with him. It's disgusting, all the things they tell me to try to convince me that he's a good guy. As if I am misinterpreting the abuse I endured.

He's 9 years older than me, but he was still in his teenage years.

My father abused all of his children(physical/mental),
so I got to see a lot of it, and go
through a lot of it with not just
my dad but also my mother and
stepfather (sexual abuse)

I've seen it and I was too young to do anything about it. When I got to be a teen it was common knowledge in the neighbourhood about how badly a friend's mother would beat him. He was 10. Hitting wasn't banned but she was excessive. One of the things she did was to hit him with the flat side of a machete. Yes he'd sometimes get cut. She had him strip before doing that. My best friend got us together to beg his mother not to hit him. It worked at first until the mother threatened to hit anyone who begged for him. That ended the help attempts. Our neighbour had police living there and no one spoke to his mother.

Me, my mom, and my two other sisters heavily abused by father, physically, psycologically, sexually. So, I have, but in those days it all got swept off the rug. He's dead now, he died when kerosene exploded, giving him 3rd degree burns over much of his body. My grandma tryed making us go to the funeral, but me and my sisters refused. It would have been too much tbh

Depends on your definition of the words "child" and "abuse".

Life is ironic, so I went from living in a meth lab with a deranged meth-head psychopathic KKK member to being a pseudo-slave (exp: we weren't frequently beaten, we were frequently verbally abused and our presence in the house was the byproduct of a ploy to take us in so that the monies provided by the state could then be used to pay the mortgage while we worked to keep it clean) in a rather luxury home that doubled as one of the most absurd drug dens in Jackson, TN (a place filled with absurd drug dens). Somehow, the dealers were the ones that shielded us best from the owner. The owner and one of the dealers are dead now. They were family, because I have a family that tends to cannibalize itself. Beyond that, my father is essentially a less rich version of Donald Trump with a spectacular addiction to sex, alcohol, and cigarettes (his sin expenditures are thought to run between 250,000 and 300,000 a year, though it's impossible to know for sure). My mom is a bipolar pill addict, and used to be an alcoholic. When I took an autism diagnosis last fall, it was believed that the reason it struck me as hard as it did while leaving me generally functional (most don't know I'm autistic because of my mask and high Iq) was from the abuse, it exacerbated my distrust and interaction issues while leaving me largely ungrounded.
