All politicians are the same, if you don't believe me look at politicians across history then look at them now.

The same how?

They aren't all the same if they were you would have easy agreement between them and we would all be screwed. If you mean they are corrupt and untrustworthy you would be incorrect they are a sample of the society that elects them. Just as with society you have those that are corrupt and criminal but the whole society isn't corrupt and criminal just those members who are. This is why as a citizen of a country it is your responsibility to vet and investigate the people you elect. With politicians that are already in office or have been in office you can look at current and past behavior such as voting on legislation to see if they are actually falling more in line with your world view or not. This is part of being an informed adult actually looking with a critical eye at the people you put into power.

So don't want corrupt people in office vet them more throughly. Get money out of politics work to change how the system functions. Run for office yourself become part of the process.

Here is an idea read the following book. The guy who wrote it ran as a Socialist so be warned his views are somewhat radical. But the man had a firmer grasp on how the system actually works than most people do now a days so it is still relevant.

I agree to disagree, we both have different opinions on this topic. Maybe a few politicians are good, but they never make it into office, even if they do their voice is usually unheard.

Coolidge is my favorite President.

Regarding favorite politician - the most interesting one to me is...Charles Evan Hughes. Why? Let's look at his background:
Governor of New York
Associate Justice of the Supreme Court
Quit the court to run for President as a Republican, lost to Woodrow Wilson
Became Secretary of State under Harding & Coolidge
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
It's fascinating his biography of where he jumped around. Also, fun fact - there are two men who back to back lost as Republicans to Woodrow Wilson for President and back to back served as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Those men are...William Howard Taft & Charles Evan Hughes.

Plus, look at Hughes' serious mustache.

Really so you think Sanders and Warren are just corrupt as say Menedez or Vitter(busted in the DC Madam case still in office sigh Mississippi what does it take) or the others who have actually gone to jail for their corruption? There are more like Sanders and Warren at all levels of the system the object is to get more pople like that into power not fewer the only way you do that is to fight for them.

This is why it is important to vote you can put those whose voice aren't being heard into power so they can make a difference, this is why the right has spent decades fighting to make people believe that all of them are the same don't trust them they just want to do you harm. Find a candidate you can support and work with them help them or run yourself. This is why I posted the link to the book.

Here is a list of house members that fall in line with Sanders and Warren http://cpc.grijalva.house.gov/caucus-members/http://cpc.grijalva.house.gov/caucus-members/

By votes the most progressive Senators to least. You will find that progressives tend to err on the side of the people not business the reason for this is they understand that it is the people they work for. Liberal isn't a dirty word it's derived from the word liberty it means we are social and economically for the people which in the long and short term is better for business. Since economies work by people spending money, when people don't have money to spend the economy tanks.

The only politician I will vote for is a Socialist and that's if I deem them worth the vote, it would have to be someone I know well, not just some other blank face.
