I've moved this over to the Advice, Info, and Recommendations forum.

Funimation streams the Psycho-Pass series, and has licensed the movie but it's not been released by them yet, and I doubt there's a legal way to watch it online right now.

I know of a good movie, but I can only describe the plot.

In a post-apocalyptic world ruled by monsters of many varieties there are a lot of different countries. One night, a country is attacked, after its leaders are killed their daughter leaves with her assisstants and starts her journey. The best way to fight these monsters is in mechs, until they reach a small town ruled by bandits. In the town the village idiot is walking through and sees a small girl getting harassed by bandits. He reveals himself to be the last of a superhuman warrior race and then he defeats the bandits. The princess has him join her group and the adventure truly begins.

Best anime movies I've seen--yes, most of these are classics, but for a reason:

Spirited Away: Miyazaki's best, in my opinion, and that's saying a lot.

Tokyo Godfathers: Best Christmas movie I've ever seen... okay, that's not actually a great compliment, but trust me, this is an awesome movie.

Ghost in the Shell: If you drew a line connecting Blade Runner with The Matrix, it would pass right through Ghost in the Shell--and it's just as good (if not better).

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzimiya: Easily the best in the category of "movie spin-off of an anime franchise" that I've ever seen. I don't know how well it would hold up on it's own, but it's the best episode in what is quite a good franchise.
