Some times I like a beer to relax. I don't party so I'm good.

I've had alcohol at social events before, but only once or twice, and it didn't really change anything. Granted, I didn't drink enough to actually feel it (I hardly ever drink, but I'm fairly heavy, so my natural tolerance is pretty good.), so I can't vouch for that being the case no matter how much you drink. But in my experience, it doesn't actually accomplish anything other than making you feel like you're included in that particular social ritual. It's by no means necessary to enjoy yourself.

I don't know if I can handle my liquor or not, because I have a phobia that keeps me away from liquor or people drinking or parties that end up like that. I prefer a quiet life.

I don't drink, never really liked it so I didn't pick up the habit. I don't care what anyone else thinks of that. I've socialised where everyone is drinking alcohol and I'll just get some water or juice. Sis discovered that her system can't take much drink. I've no idea if I'm the same way because I don't care to test myself to find out. I can enjoy myself just fine as I am.

I'm a teetotaler. Well, perhaps you could argue that I don't drink out of spite since alcoholism runs in my family and i've seen it ruin peoples lives and kill family members. So perhaps i'm pretty biased when I say that you're not missing out, but I still don't think you are.

When i'm around people who drink, I get a kick out of seeing them "relaxed". If everyone around me is loose and happy,I can get loose and happy myself without having to resort to a drink. I guess you could think of it like exploiting the atmosphere. Let them do the work for me lol.

I mean, sometimes I feel like I don't fit in when I hear other people talk about their favorite drinks, how often they drink, etc - but it doesn't really get to me all that much. I just look at it like a hobby that I don't share.

Occasionally.

I tend to get really hyped up and social when I get drunk.
So I tend to limit myself to one or two glasses of wine, and keep it mellow.

From a drinker, your not missing much. Drinking seems like a big deal in college. But as you get older it loses its excitement and just becomes something normal people don't think about. It's like cussing when you were in grade school vs being a adult. No one really cares.

My friend was the same way, he was allergic to alcohol. Much worse than you, it would make him vomit blood. Which is why I always made sure to accommodate him when we went out to clubs and bars. So as long as I was around, he was never left out. He was also are permanent DD, lol.

I drink and my consumption varies a lot.. honestly when I use to go clubbing and to house parties.. sure, I made friends and had fun, but shallow friendships solely through liquor usually don't last forever and aren't that great in my opinion

Half the big parties I went to as well everyone got trashed, so the next day ends up being a terrible recovery day.

All in all, I don't think you're really missing much. Just a couple glasses of wine and anime/video games are how I roll nowadays.

Drinking is a complete waste of money, so i don't do it.
And it only makes me left out if i think it does, so it doesn't.

I love alcohol and I feel bad for people who are unable to drink it. I have some friends who are allergic to it but that doesn't prevent them from coming out to have a good time. They are usually the ones taking pictures and recording us and laughing at us the day after.

I was watching John Oliver the other night, and he just destroyed Bud Light, and said like it tasted like shit. I don't drink so i wouldn't know but does it taste that bad? lol

I don't drink, but I had a glass of wine at a party last Saturday and my face almost instantly flushed. I heard it's like that with most of the Japanese side of my family, of course, I'm also just inexperienced with drinking.
