MAAAAAAAN this is literally one of my fav anime EVER! The actions is so damn good and Hyoubu is as badass as anyone can get.

I know, right? I am so in love with his utter realness. He wants what he wants and is willing to make his goals come true. Ah. And THE ACTION. Perfect.

It is one of my top favorites from all anime have seen too. Glad to realize I'm in good company.

Kemono no Soja Erin is an amazing hidden gem. I finished the entire 50-some episode series in a weekend. Very few series have actually managed to make me cry, but this one was able to do so.

Monster: Psychological anime, many great characters, excellent setting (Germany and other parts of Europe), amazing story, actually somewhat REALISTIC, good action, rated lower than Death Note :(
Michiko to Hatchin: Reminds me of cowboy bebop, episodic, again excellent setting (Brazil), good fights, interesting characters, good plot, AMAZING last 4 or 5 episodes, only rated 7.92 on MAL :(

Space Brothers is one of my personal favorites. It's about 2 brothers and a dream of going to space. No fantasy, no super powers, and no fanservice. Just a great cast of characters with great voice acting, good animation, and excellent character development. Both the manga and anime are awesome.

Cuticle detective inaba.

this anime is really funny. its satire is really subtle, and is masked by random silliness on the surface, so it's pretty hard for the average person to identify those satires.

But it actually makes fun of a LOT of things, like yaoi, anime, anime cliches, Japanese politics etc. I mean, anime is my favourite hobby, but i'm not going to get mad if someone makes fun of it. I have a wacky sense of humour, and this anime was exactly my sense of humour.

____

I would highly recommend this to anyone who like satirical and parody elements in their anime.

I'm sure this thread has been done before. Oh well..
My vote definitely goes to "A bridge to the Starry skies" / "Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi"

School Days - A harem that teaches you a valuable life lesson.

Sword Art Online - The thrilling adventure of a video gamer in a fight for his life.

Glasslip - A complex masterpiece that shows you why you shouldn't do drugs when making an anime.

If you are into yuri, I recommend this one wholeheartedly.

Now, here's another REALLY underrated title.

Just see it.

Now, another excellent title. Made by the same people who made Karas.

Yona of The Dawn.

For me it was at least unexpected. The premise of it all was just meh and it turned out to be one of my favorite animes of the year!

Aishiteruze Baby: Playboy teenager takes care of kindergarten-aged cousin, and in the process finds a serious girlfriend for the first time in his life (a classmate, not his cousin).

Sort of a combination between Usagi Drop and Say "I Love You", and just about as good as either of those.

Yea, that is a pretty awesome anime, and is proof that these anime can be hiding anywhere, even in the library of one of the worst companies around. It's a good solid drama/sol anime from start to finish too(there's really no slip up or bad episodes).
