I've become fairly annoyed that when Crunchyroll says an episode will come out in X days it doesn't come out in X days. Let me explain this before someone gets mad, 24 hours ago I got on to find that the new episode of "Is it ok to pick up girls in a dungeon." would be out in 1 day. 1 day has passed and it comes out in 20 hours from now. I'm not a genius or anything but 4 hours dos not equal 1 day. So why exactly when a show comes out in 47 hours does the system tell us it comes out in one day? There is no reason for the system to round down so much, if a show comes out in a day it should tell us in hours therefore the system should say 2 days up until it gets to telling us 24 hours and then counting down.

I don't understand how that changes what I said above, I still don't believe that the system shouldn't say 1 day if it means 2, there is no reason for the system to even be able to say 1 day, it should say from 48 hours to 24 hours 2 days, then when it hits 24 hours it should then count down from 24. Time zones are irrelevant I still got on yesterday say it say one day and 24 hours later it now says 20, which is a blatant lie.

Or you can check the release calendar for the exact day and time a show will be released, Crunchyroll time.

I'm pretty sure it's fine to round the days under the episodes as long as it clearly says what time you can watch it under "About the Show." For me, it says Friday 10:30am, and right now, it's Thursday 3:05 pm. On schedule, no misunderstandings. As long as that's there, you shouldn't really be upset about anything.

There is no need to rely on the individual episode countdowns since the episodes are released on a fixed schedule every week. It rounds using floor rather than ceiling so until it starts counting seconds you know that it is more than a day. I wouldn't say that either way is better than the other since they are both inaccurate. Luckily the exact time the episode is planned to be released is located on each show page. Alternatively you can go to /launchcalendar and see the times for all the shows that already have their placeholder added.

For your information, When the show will come out in 1 day, it is telling you that it still have a full day and several hours remaining.
1 day: # hours : # minutes
Thus, 1 day is more than 24 hours and less than 48 hours (2 days is 48 hours), so 1 day remaining is techincally 1 day and # hours. Once it shows 24 hours remaining, the show will show up in 1 day.

People seem to be taking away from this what I didn't want them to. So let me try to fix this.
The original post says that 24 hours doesn't equal 4. That right THERE is what I'm complaining about, My nuisance is that the system Takes anything below 48 hours as 1 day So:
>48 hours = 1 day BUT
24 hours = 24 hours
23 hours = 23 hours
ect.
Yet 1 day = 24 hours IRL.
Do you see what I'm talking about? So why is it the system can count down from 24, yet can't count 48-24? My suggestion is a change so that the system does not do such dramatic rounding as what I've shown above. Personally the waiting isn't what I'm mad about it is the terrible math calculation by the system.

Why was my post moved to Help? I don't need help in any shape way or form.

I moved it to Site Support / Minor Questions. Its premise seemed to be a question about how the site worked in terms of time listings until the next episode was available, as well as a suggestion for an improvement, both of which fit better here.
