See, you live in NYC, that makes sense. Unfortunately, if you visited Kansas, it wouldn't take long for you to see bigotry still exists.

Nope, I'm just saying I'm just saying I don't fully believe it, but am not stupid enough to deny something when there's evidence to it.

That's like saying I don't believe in the sun because it's dark out.

There is even disputes among people of the same ethnicity also. I've seen cases where a light skin black girl call another black girl (black as hell) and she must go back to Africa When that girl wasn't even African. This is why dark skin black hate light skin blacks. I don't want to bring up the whole African things like this always end up going in that direction.

The fact I'm skeptical of it actually supports the theory, actually.

LOOL.

Anyone who has not lived in a second and or third world country outside of America does not have the knowledge required to answer this question properly.

I live in a 92-94% black third world country.. and I can most definitely say, I am treated no where near the same as them. Its harder to get jobs, people tend to avoid sitting next to me and I often get glares pointed at me when I walk into a room.

Just because America seems to have a bit of discrimination, doesn't mean every where in the world white people are treated great as-well.

Every country has its prejudices, what happens in America doesn't happen elsewhere in the world.

It sounds like your question should be rephrased to "are white people in America treated better"

People in third world countries only treat white people bad because because they don't want them coming to their country acting all superior.

Well, I can't speak for those countries because the only one I have first hand experience with is the US, and second hand is like Asian countries, but I'd imagine the preference is different in those third world countries like you said.

Thanks to colonization, we screwed ourselves over.

It's amazing that some people think they can wear pants below their ass, father children and then disappear, act out all day in school instead of learning, act like a gangster, shoplift, mug, loot, burn, kill, shoot cops and then expect to be treated like decent everyday people. Successful black people are despised by many black role models, as sell outs and 'Uncle Toms'.

What they don't realize is this is all according to plan by Democrats who require victims in order to get votes. When there are not enough victims to vote for you what do you do then? You illegally import millions more from Mexico and South America, and Syria and illegally grant them citizenship ahead of the million or so people waiting in line to legally enter the USA.

I don't find it to be a privilege to work my ass off and have the government take 40 cents of every dollar that I earn and hand it over to illegal immigrants. I don't think it's a privilege to pay $700/month for health coverage that trespassing non-citizens get for free. I don't think it's a privilege to pay thousands of dollars every year to feed, cloth and educate people who sneak into the my country for the handouts.

People need to start taking responsibility for themselves and stop living like parasites.

Learning about history is definitely the cause. Even though it's exciting and all the world would be a better place if history was never even taught.

That's immigrants though. I'd suggest you never go to NYC where this is the immigrant haven of the US, and we don't mind it at all. I mean, the US has always been where people would immigrate to in large numbers, if it weren't for this I'd be living in Italy, if my grandparents didn't hop on the back of a boat.

If immigrants can get legal status after entering illegally, why should they be treated any different? And even if they can't, so long as they aren't doing anything illegal, we need to get off our Bald Eagle high horse and thinking America is the best, because those Syrian immigrants you mentioned are bound to die if they don't escape.

And I'm not really sure what the Democrats have to do with anything, sounds more like a kooky conspiracy theory than anything if I'm being honest.

Thing is unlike a law of physics the idea of privilege is as amorphous as any collection of people. It changes with specific situations. Being white female and short is not as privileged a state as being white tall and male. Speaking english in an english speaking country is great unless you find yourself in an environment where everyone else speaks a language you don't know. That experience of being treated like a 'normal' person that some have spoken about is in an of itself a privileged state. people far enough outside the circle don't get treated 'normal'.

I guess you could say lighter skinned people get treated better than darker skinned. But I could also say that about people who dress like bums vs people who dress professional? .__. I see light skinned people who dress like a bum and get treated awfully. While I see Hispanics/blacks/darker skinned people who dress in suits or casual professional clothing who get treated very well. I think it all comes down to the person. a lot of people not just pointing out states that have no diversity, but there are a lot of people who don't venture out and experience the different cultures/races we have. I met plenty of them and they treat others very differently. Of course there are some who actually treat others better than people who have experienced other people. To me I think it comes down to the individual. I'm Spanish and Korean: I'm in between, somewhat tan but also light skinned. I have never been treated poorly. Now I can say a situation about my own father who is Spanish. He wore sweats and a old shirt and got treated like utter crap. And when he dresses somewhat decent he gets much more respect. But then again he likes to dress comfy and sometimes gets treated great. Like I said it just depends on the individual who is giving you whatever treatment. Not everyone is the same, we all have different perspectives on everything.
