I voted it's wrong.

But it's necessary for a number of reasons; 1stly it creates jobs and technology for people, 2ndly for defense.

None of the jobs or tech created by war are necessary for anyone except for the continuation of war.
And the tech didn't need war to exist to be invented.

War is not going away...EVER!

I wish all wars would end, but that will never happen. Humans have been fighting each other for millions of years. It would be wonderful if disease, war and poverty would just end. Right now we are seeing old resentments of the past being thrust on to a generation of people who nothing to do with what happened 100, 70, 60 years ago. So there will always be war because people fail to learn the mistakes of the past or they try to ignore the past. Like WW3, it's inevitable because mistakes are bing made right now.

War is a declaration of armed conflict between sovereign nations. Drafts and conscription usually occur. World War I was a war. World War II was a war. Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq were also wars. The crap that's been happening for over the past decade? Occupation and maybe pest control at best. The 100 Years War of the 14th century? A crusade from the overly-zealous members of catholic church when it was at the pinnacle of power. Cold War? A dick-measuring contest for over 40 years.

We haven't had a war for a while, now, so I don't see how anyone could be sick of it.

I think war extends beyond physical conflict, with that said I'm not sick of it...yet...(actually I probably am...we probably all are tbh), War is indeed sickening/can cause sickness.

Yes I am. I once saw a video that stated that throughout the entire history of the world, there was a total of 3 years of peace. That says a lot about war. I can't remember what it was but that video made me realize how much war and bloodshed there has been throughout the ages. That along with other factors made me into a pacifist.

I do not support war unless for defense and not only because of its horror; I know some cases where coercion, exploitation, and destruction is achieved without violence especially in this increasingly interconnected world. The transnational corporate use what is called systematic violence to establish their global dominance and maintain Neo-Colonialism instead of military power. Structural violence do not produce violence but use the social structure to create the same devastation as violence. The emphasis on violence for domination may be due to individualism where the individual gain power by their dis-positional traits and relational power are ignored. This is the reason why I oppose Putin's military intervention in Ukraine but not Putin's political intervention in Western countries.

WAR
Death
Destruction
To Gain Power and Land .
To Defend Life and Land

This cycle will never end until all of humanity are equal and one.
If the next generation does not know the meaning of peace, we will never see the End of War.
