check out golden time and denki-gai. Golden time takes place in college, whereas denki-gai is in a workplace where everyone, (minus fu-girl), is an adult. I would recommend both for a good non-high school harem. And although I haven't finished it yet, servantxservice may be up your ally.

I love the anime, but out of curiosity, who are you seeing as the harem in Golden Time? Usually a harem is defined as 3 or more potential love interests; Banri has Koko and Linda. The only other girls in the anime are Nana, Chinami, Banri's Mom, and a few unnamed girls from the Festival club and from the cult, and none of them expresses any interest in Banri (or vice versa). I guess maybe you could argue that Yana has a harem; I suppose there are three potential romantic interests for him (actually more if you count the girls from the Festival club), although it's odd to think of a side-character has having a harem...

While I'm not sure it qualifies (uncertain ages on women and is set at a dojo), I found Samurai Girls/Bride to be fun.

Oh yea, Total Eclipse is a good one. Underrated anime in my opinion.

Except I've heard it's a total mockery of the VN. I'd rather play the VN than watch it

Dunno if it is a mockery of not honestly. I've never played a visual novel before, but your comment about it is the first time I've heard someone mention the anime made a mockery of it. Doesn't mean it's a wrong opinion though. Wouldn't be hard to marathon it, Loomy.

was gonna say - They Are My Noble Masters

but the MC is probably slightly underage, otherwise most of the female cast is 18+ and it's a maid and butler setting.

Don't peer pressure me!!!!

Trust me, I really do want to watch it but I've heard the VN is phenomenal and that the anime just doesn't do it justice at all especially since it skipped the two previous stories (Muv Luv and Muv Luv Unlimted). I'm going to read the VN before watching the anime, I've made up my mind!

Keep in mind that Total Eclipse is NOT an adaptation of the VNs, but rather an adaptation of a novel series. You still read the VN, though(but it is a bit of a grind as the first route, Muv-Luv Extra, is basically a typical by the books romcom VN(this is why ML is so highly praised, though, cause when it came out it was such a mindfuck that it went from a generic romcom to a grimdark mind fuck mecha horror series).

Haha yep, that's what I heard! The author was a sneaky, but brilliant bastard for switching the settings like that. I hear the romcom part has a lot of hidden things in it foreshadowing the terrors of what's to come next.

Yep. To put it another way it would be like Nisekoi suddenly becoming Knights of Sidonia.

Love Hina comes to mind. Manga > Anime for many reasons. Lots of character development and hilarious antics.

Lots of good mentions in this thread. Bastard, in particular, deserves my hat tip, as does Hand Maid May. (I feel old, though. I have the Bastard OAVs on VHS, and what volumes I have of the manga are in the old Viz format from the late '90s.)

Seconding this. The manga is not afraid to be completely awful to Keitaro at multiple points, and it is all the funnier for it.

Try City Hunter (I don't know whether it can be considered as harem). It is an old anime started airing in late 80's

Ai Yori Aoshi is the first show that comes to mind. Most of the characters are college age with a couple of girls being in grade school. But in this harem only one girl is the MC's love affection and everybody else is just a friend.

This. Also Golden Time is a small harem show (2 and one that is and isn't at times). Love Hina is another.

This is a great series and very underrated in my not so humble opinion. I love the battle between Raid and Seara August!
