The new Flash/Arrow spinoff on CW will be a team themed show with the beginning lineup being Rip Hunter, Hawkgirl, The Atom, the Sara Lance Black Canary, Captain Cold, Heatwave, and Martin Stein (1/2 of Firestorm).

The official synopsis,

"When heroes alone are not enough ... the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?"

Everyone who has played the parts on Flash and Arrow are playing the same roles, along with Ciara Renee playing Hawkgirl and a time traveling vet, Doctor Who's Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter.

Rip Hunter and Hawkgirl are set to appear in the season finale of Flash.

I've been really looking forward to this series. I'm particularly interested in finding out just who the mystery teen kid is gonna be. Everyone is pointing out that it sounds like Static but I'm not too sure.

Sara is going to be The White Canary. I don't know why they brought her back.. She was just "the sister go had an affair with her sisters' boyfriend".. She should have stood in Nanda Parbat with the League of Assassins.... I am looking forward to Legends of Tomorrow though! I can't wait! To me she's a useless character in Arrow. Hopefully she's better in LoT.

Arthur Davill (who played Rory on "Doctor Who") is going to be on this show. It would be interesting to see how his take on Rip Hunter is going to stand up against John Barrowman's Malcolm Merlyn on "Arrow".
