I am transferring to a university this fall where I will be studying Japanese as my major. Does anyone want to be a study partner with me this summer? Maybe you are learning as well or perhaps you already know? We could skype or email or use voxer it doesn't matter to me anything would help. Not many of my friends speak it and practicing always helps. Add me or message me and let me know thanks! :)

P.S. I have 2 years of studying Japanese under my belt so the more you know the better!

I'm rather busy, but I can help you if you like. I lived in Japan for 2 years and am conversationally fluent, as long as topics don't get too specific.

I don't believe in paying thousands of dollars to study something, if I wanted to learn I'd do so for free on the internet.

For writing and reading practice, there's always the one on Crunchy. Shiritori is kinda the only thing goin' on most the time, but you can take your time since it's a board. Pick a word, write about it.

College teaches more than just a subject. It teaches disciple, people skills, and responsibility. That's why people with degrees get jobs lol. I have used the internet to help with my studies and it's great but I want to become a teacher so I need a degree.

I always saw degrees as trust between a college and a person. Kinda like how money backed by trust between government and the peeps. The paper (degree) is a physical representation of that trust....but I digress. I'm down to practice some Japanese. Took like two classes on it in college so I know a little.
