They've reduced the use of platinum by cutting the amount of catalyst by two thirds and changing its composition. It's one of the reasons the Mirai is 57k. Granted that's still expensive, but I could see it going down by 2025, especially if they find an alternative like you said or use even smaller amounts.

Ten years from now my niece will be walking, talking, and in school. I will be turning forty and hopefully still have a full head of hair.

Coincidentally, that game was one of the reasons I bought a PS3.

Television will go away entirely and I'll no longer have to pay for it to watch Sportscenter in the morning.

I'll be thirty, if I'm even still alive by then. Who knows?

In ten years time, I'll have my doctorate and already some experience practicing in a clinic under my belt.

In a way, I would love to discard our useless 'obligations' working towards a 'civilized' society, and instead be able to avoid the pressure and survive how we want. A breath of fresh air if we could do it.

No idea what to say about what will happen in the future. If virtual reality becomes a thing I'd like that. Playing rpgs in first person sounds awesome!

VR is already a thing, most people think ok full dive/immersion VR when they think of it but we've definitely had it for quite a few years now. I believe the PS4 came out with a VR type headset just recently, its supposed to create audio/visual/tactile, not sure how "VR" it really is though.

As for the future well who knows at the rate tech seems to advance these days i wouldn't be surprised by anything at all.
