You should only experience this if you've paused the video for multiple minutes. It would be a limitation of the fact that CR's video player doesn't buffer content, and the player can't recover the transport session once it's expired.

I just started trying Kodi myself. The playback is so much smoother and there have been no stream interruptions so far.

I'm not really a fan of media center type programs, but if this is what it takes to ditch CR's horrible piece of junk flash player, then I'll gladly switch.

I think I'm having issues with Kodi now. The video just crashes an sends me to the episode screen. It keeps doing this for both Funimation and CR, so I know it's an issue with either Kodi or my computer.

We've been subscribing to CR for a couple of years now and on the whole I think it's the best deal going.

But the crashing issue is ridiculous. :(

We also subscribe to the Funimation channel and *never* have freeze-up problems there, yet on CR there's times when we've simply given up on an episode and come back the next day because we couldn't even get past the opening credits for a show.
If it wasn't for the huge difference in the two channel's offerings we'd have given up in frustration long ago.
And yeah, I've tried all of the suggestions on the site and have a decent PC and ISP, so add that to the fact that virtually everything else we stream has no issues and it's obvious this is a CrunchyRoll problem.

This is the first "solid" recommendation I've heard for this issue.
Can't wait to give it a try. :)
