I think sellers shouldn't be allowed to remove items right before the bidding time ends.

I've had this happen to me four times, where I've been the highest bidder (and going to get a great deal) when the seller decides not to sell it a half day before the bidding ends. It's really frustrating to have this happen, and it makes me take note to not buy from this seller.

The most recent event was that I was going to win a bid for a set of Love Live! post cards for $4....the seller took the item off and now it's back up at a starting bid of like $8. What kind of crap is that?

Has anyone else experienced this?

But was the item's bidding about to end?

This hasn't happened to me with small sellers, only with sellers that sell tons of stuff. This last one was re-posted for sell the very next day.

Eeek. That's pretty important to wipe off. That's understandable.

They had like a 97% positive feedback. With well written reviews. It's only happened to me for cheap items, like post cards and small items. I have a few wig suppliers that I like and keep a good relationship with. I've gotten the wrong wig a couple of times, but each time I've gotten great customer service and usually they'll let me keep the wrong wig for free and send me the right one.

how hard is it to format a phone these days...

well that's alright, a free wig is a free wig.

but yeah i can see what you mean, most sellers now have all that jazz, but sometimes you either save money on getting it online, or you can only get it online so

Exactly. And you never know if you'll need it. One of my /wrong/ wigs turned out to be my favorite and perfect for one of my cosplays.

And by buying direct, you save money more often than not. There's an "Otaku" store located in the local mall where I live...but the prices are awful.
