Post Reply How much does lighting matter to you~

I prefer natural daylight to overly bright and sunny days, even overcast daylight days are still natural enough

Generally watch at night, and not during the day. Light off with a candle lit. I've got a pretty sweet candle that changes different colours. Room stays slightly lit, and begins to smell good as well.

I noticed both of you like viewing anime with a candle lit. Why? What effect does the candle lit have with your audio-visual senses? Does it intensify the experience? Personally, I like the lights off while viewing anime.

Personally, it sets a relaxing ambiance. When I'm watching anime, it's at night when I'm gearing down after a long day at work, and it adds to that relaxation in my opinion. I work in a factory, and I get to smell grease, and all kinds of other stuff during the day, so having a nice smelling candle just, again, adds to that atmosphere of relaxation. I also enjoy a good peppermint tea at night, as well.

I prefer both. Once my room gets too dark, I have no choice but to turn the lights on so I can see the Anime I'm watching, lolxD.

It depends on the day, so it's a mixture of both, but I'm highly light sensitive so I get really bad headaches every so often.

I can't stand natural light

I'm not being dramatic, it's biological. I have myopia (heredity), astigmatism and my eyes are extremely lightsensitive. I can't "get used to it by going outside more" and I get offended when people tell me to do so (Would you tell a person in a wheelchair to "walk it off"?). I work outside for over 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. It doesn't make it better, it hurts all the same, so during my free time I tend to stay indoors as much as possible and keep the curtains closed.

That happened to me when I went outside from a gaming cafe after a while of sitting at a computer many years ago
