Motivate me? Not really.
If any anime ever affected my life, it would be FMA:B, it made me become a stronger person, and I think made me loose the last childish views I had, I guess it gave me a heart of fullmetal.
Leave me feeling empty? Hell yes.
Basically any anime I ever finished did that to me (HxH, FMA:B, SAO2, FT will, Gurren Lagann).

Yup, a couple animes have affected my life. I really like animes with positive vibes and encouraging messages, like Shugo Chara or Lilpri. I watched both of these animes for the first time back in 2010-2011? After I did watch them, I started have more of a positive outlook and help others out more. Kind of cheesy, I know, but it's true.

Can't say it has. Anime was something I liked to watch to kill time but was still really fun to watch during elementary & middle school.

Does anime motivate me? Not a single bit.
Has anime effected me? Yes. I have something to do now instead of nothing

Kanda Sorata's life in Sakurasou motivated me alot for .. let's say 10 minutes or so. There are a few Anime which inspired and motivated me, but it never lasted long. If only I wasn't this lazy.. v.v

This is so true. I really wanted to start drawing manga after this.

Well, i have learned to know a few people because of the hobby - so it has affected my life.
Not to mention the countless hours i spent watching it when i could have done something else...

A good story can always motivate me and rethink certin things in life. You can learn from it - this goes for all mediums. However, anime really doesnt have those kind of stories... except for 5 centimeter per second i guess. That had brilliant real life writing! So a very vauge yes.

To be honest, it has. For example, Eyeshield 21 made me start playing football and now, I'm like the best running back at school. Cross Game and Major inspired me to start playing baseball, and heck! I was an amazing pitcher. Prince of Tennis and Baby Steps caused me to start playing Tennis and I realized that I'm actually pretty good at it. Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Dragonball Z, Hunter X Hunter, Kenichi The Mightiest Disciple, and many other action/adventure anime have inspired me to get stronger and faster physically and even emotionally, as they have helped me to grow as a person. All in all, Anime has motivated me in a lot of different situation, sometimes when I was at the very bottom, it has helped pick me back up and sometimes when I'm at the top, it has inspired me to get even better!
