SO I am 36 and still watching Anime. Still fun and all. Satires, action, comedy and dramas. You name it I'll probably give it a chance. So Here's the question? What are you currently watching? Basically asking, what is your go to show at this moment?

Mine is Plastic Memories and Log Horizon.
Plastic memories due to the fact the writing is excellent and character development is great.
Log Horizon because well, I am playing FFXIV mmorpg and it relates in some ways.

Yours? Old or New? Movie or series?

Hows it going. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 39 and still enjoying anime as much as anyone would. I used to stick with action robo types but now since I've been a crunchyroll loyalist, I've been watching almost anything. Plastic memories is good. i'm really enjoying that one. Also the new Fate/Stay Night blows me away. Also enjoying "Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a Dungeon" . There's anime for every mood of the day.

I'm actually going to Fanimecon here in san jose for the first time. I have a feeling I'll be in the old geezer crowd but I'm going to enjoy it just the same. I've been to comic-con and wonder-con so I'm curious how it compares.

I'm 37 and still watch a lot of anime. I've been watching Fate/Stay Night, Plastic Memories and Gintama. I also just started watching Space Brothers for the first time, I've watched about 30 episodes so far and have really enjoyed it.

Hello fellow older anime fans!

FYI - there are a few groups of us older anime fans such as:
Age 30 and Up Fans - A not very active group (tho it would be fun to see active) of older anime fans over 30!
Parenthood - For those of us who are older & have kids

Me? I am slowly watching Angel Beats! and Nameko Families currently. If I were to just choose to sit down & binge on something though? I'd sit down & watch all of Cowboy Bebop. Kids & work get in the way of doing the binging, though!

Another older fellow checking in.

I'm 40 and have been watching anime for quite a while. I find that a like cute and sweet stories, like PapaKiki or Henneko. I have an enormous backlog of shows right now because I am only watching a handful at a time. My favorites of this season are Plastic Memories and Oremonogatari. I am waiting a little while to check out Shokugeki no Soma and Ultimate Otaku Teacher, and dozens of others. I will definitely watch the second season of I Can't Understand What my Husband is Saying when I find myself needed a sure-fire laugh.

Your never too old to watch Anime or read Manga or even play with toys. Thats the key to staying young even with your own kids. When I'm 71 I'll still read Manga just it will be in some other different form than what we have today. Currently I'm watching I Can't understand What my husband is saying, Oreimo, 5 Centimeters per Second

Well, 45 here and this season I am following Triage X, Wish Upon the Pleiades, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, & Comical Psychosomatic Medicine. Also trying to catch up on way to many older series I have not scene.

Favorite, is always hard to say as it depends on my mood. Guess I can narrow it down to this, they are the ones I have decided to post on my page.

im 34, and i love anime. i tend to like the ones that deal with dystopian futures and shinto gods. gintama cracks me up. anything that deals with economics sends me over the edge. i love miyazaki and the studio ghibli stuff.
im currently watching arslan, assassination classroom, disappearance of nagato yuki chan, and fate/stay night. i know its not all cruchyroll, but hey. i like what i like.
for some strange reason, i love girls und panzer. i think i wish senshado was a real martial art.
ghost in the shell and cowboy bebop are the ultimate go to anime for me.

currently, Overlord, Gangsta, Future Diary, Log Horizon, Actualy I Am, Monster Musume, Gintama (though I'm way behind) & God Eater.
Finished SAO 2, Michiko to Hatchin, Rokka braves of the six flowers, GATE, Love Lab.

I have no go to anime as I try to watch anime I've yet to watch, but I'm a sucker for the mecha genre (Waitin' for IRON BLOOD ORPHANS)

51 years still big fan I like to watch all the simulcast series then hook into a good show that is complete while waiting for new episodes I have multiple accounts of different anime sources so its enough to get my fix. I like to watch older shows like Vandread or War on Geminar really good and episodes are 46 minutes some people don't even realize animes used to be longer. Airgear is another series I like funny how there isnt censorship but lots of bath scenes and MC has 4 sister no parents but good show. You cant go wrong on any Tenchi series good formula for older shows! One time I watched 34 different series of Mecha genre and only scratched the service so many shows out there was on a mission but failed due to burnout of style lolol

I'm 35... I grew up watching anime because I'm half Japanese and lived in Japan when I was a kid, and continued to do so in the US when it became more available. I watch at least half the shows every season because of work... But this season, my favorites are "Himouto! Umaru-chan," "Gatchaman Crowds Insight," and "Non Non Biyori Repeat."
