Women are better with kids. I'm "old fashioned" so I think so long as everyone is equal and happy, gender roles are not bad. Men can go out and work while women raise a family IF that's what they want. If they the opposite, that's perfectly fine too.

Sure but if people are to say it's better for the mother to look after the child and they have facts to back up their claim, people shouldn't be getting offended and calling it sexism. You do whatever you want, you're an individual but at the same time your gender isn't non-existent, I just don't like people who mimic "men and women are equal" without actually knowing what the hell they're saying. Same goes for people who are fine with gays and can establish that it's not "disgusting" but look upon incest and say it's disgusting when it's just society that's influenced you to say that but that's another topic

Ok where to even start. First off, Men and women are in fact not equal in anyway.
Example: Men are expected to be the breadwinner of the household while the women are to be housewives.
There are women who want to be respected and be equal with men, but they sometimes go against it by using their bodies to achieve something. Like in twitch there are people who flaunt their bodies to get more viewers while guys who naturally play good get viewers because of the ideology that media has instilled in everyone that sex sells but it is quite true.
Now biologically women have to bear the pain of giving birth while the guy just has to pump to get a child. Men are also expected to have a fit body and women to have an hour glass body, again sex sells.
Psychologically men and women are actually equal on this because it doesn't matter whether you're man or woman if you are raised to be weak minded you will turn out that way unless you think otherwise.

tl;dr Fuck the media and fuck bad parenting

Saying "men are biologically stronger than women" is erasure of trans people. Let's not do that.

I don't understand. We're not allowed to say men are usually stronger than women when it's true?

I feel like the general discussion forum has its own seasons sometimes. A while ago it was religious threads. Now it's these. I thought I disliked the religious season, but looking back on it now, I guess it wasn't so bad.

I wonder what the next season will be.

Nothing wrong with it. I just find it interesting that threads about feminism, gender, and sex have started popping up all over the place, just like how a while ago it was all about religious convictions, and after that it was all about race. The race and gender / sex threads are kind of odd to me personally since one can't choose those like religious convictions.

~~Anyway~~~

That's just rambling observations. To adress the true topic, I guess i'll say "Of course I think men and women are equal. There are different senses of equality. Men and women are equal in value because we're all humans. Any instance in which they are not treated as equal in value is wrong, and any area of society that manifests a disadvantage to someone based on aspects that they themselves cannot choose should be seriously looked at for improvement"

But, of course, that's a generic statement I apply to all different types of humans, as I don't particularly play favorites with equality of the sexes. I probably said the same thing in one of the race threads back during that season.

Lol no. Just because Hinata is wearing her old clothes doesn't mean she didn't mature, or else Naruto would have to bend down greatly just to hug her. It feels like you missed the point, Heavily missed my point.

I'm sorry, it was just all I could see, I couldn't focus on your comments. I agree with you though. Back to the Naruto and Hinata thing, that haircut is the same as the one she had when she was young, the older Hinata has long hair...Unless Naruto is a closet loli and Hinata dressed that way to satisfy his weird fetishes...I'm truly interested in who created that display picture of yours.

I know that the older Hinata has long hair, It's just showing how Hinata would look if she were to age but not change her wardrobe. Just like how Goku wears the same thing and have the same hair style for the rest of his life, same concept.

So this my first time creating a new forum topic, sorry if there's already a topic like this and sorry if this isn't even mildly interesting.

Mostly people around my age mimic this whole "men are equal to women" thing and although that's true intellectually, it's not true biologically or psychologically, for example a women can seem more emotional because of oestrogen which would in turn affect how you think, the body shapes are different and unfortunately women are usually physically weaker than men.

Anyway, it's not rocket science to see that men and women are in fact different, it's especially obvious if you get into a relationship with the other gender. Anyway, what are your thoughts? Do you think I'm wrong? Why?

Please be nice, this is my first time attempting to do this :)

We're very different on many levels mentally and emotionally and I personally love that. I can't imagine being married to someone just like me who approaches life and situations just as I would. Men and women compliment each other for the most part and if things are approached in a mature way, when it warrants for not everything calls for maturity of course, it generally works out very well.

Socially, there's always going to be things to work on and inversely things people trump up. To be honest I rather prefer North America as far as social rights as a woman. My grandfather on my birth family's side was a specialist in his medical field so once I was in my teens I was traveling with him a lot and have seen many different social climates that I wouldn't want to be in personally as a female.

We have plenty to work on but in the end we are very spoiled in the west.
