So PETA can experiment on humans, and also slaughter a load of kittens and puppies. But otaku's are evil because of cat girls? Yeah, sure....makes perfect sense.

Well, PETA's founder have gone on the record saying that humans and animals shouldn't live together and house pets deserve "freedom" from pet owners. So in other words they think they're doing them a service by killing them off...

You know, there are ethical standards for the use, care/maintenance, and treatment of laboratory animals (including mice and rats) during research. If you have evidence of or suspect that abuse is taking place there are authorities you can talk to, and they are empowered to take impacting, substantial action against violators. The scientific merit of research is a crucial part of obtaining grant money, and the process of obtaining grants is extremely competitive. These people are misrepresenting the facts in so many ways that I am positively disgusted.

The ethical standards might not be the same in every country, yea sure... Most developed countries have ethical standards but they vary on a extreme level, for example it's totally legal to give animals drugs in both Denmark and Germany whit drugs being completely illegal in Sweden (not that a law stops some from trying...). Anyhow, PETA isn't the organization that is known for doing their research on things since they are one (if not) the most unserious "animal rights" organization out there. If you want to help animals then send some money to your local animal rights group, sure they don't have the resources to do something internationally... But what they do will end up helping more animals even if it's just locally

Peta aginst pets, lol.
i have cats, three of them. i can tell you they are as much a part of my family as i am of theirs.
its really kind weird when you reaized some bond cross species. they worry for each other when sick and they worry for their humans when they are sick too. i dont see how this is a bad thing.

I'll take a second to point out that the founder of PETA,Ingrid Newkirk, is diabetic and takes insulin derivex from and tested on pigs, cows and sheep. But that's ok because she "has to make sacrifices to help animals that can't liberate themselves".

But she's against blind and HOH people having guide animals because that's slavery.

PETA is full of bullshit that they might as well become a meme or something. No one takes them seriously.

Sure, but if you went by that guy's gobbledygook you'd think ethical standards for animal subjects just plain don't exist, and worse yet that animal research is a total waste of time. He's either a liar or an idiot. In other words, we're totally on the same page.

They kill animals that they claim to rescue including pets stolen by supporters and staff then given to PETA offices. There are several cases, the most recent being a pomeranian or shizhu, one of the tiny barking pillow breeds, stolen from a family's chain fenced yard in front of their 8 year old girl. Caught on camera, in a van makes PETA and license plate registered to PETA as a company van.

With ethics like that who can support them?

Plus they funnel money in to ALF and Earth Justic which both support or in the case of ALF perpetrate domestic and foreign terrorism.

Honestly, a LOOOT of people think they're a serious charity group. Hence why they've survived for as long as they have.

Well that's what PETA wants you to think, remember... PETA is the charity group that claimed whaling in a game killed off animals in real life, pokemon games are teaching children to treat animals badly... Oh and they also went outside Blizzard offices (a game company) and tried make they treat Zerg's better by calling them Zerglings, which let me remind our selfs is a non existent animal

Oh and they also made that cat girl thing... This clearly proves that they care more about viritual animals over real animals

Honestly, if you're like me someone who likes animals then send money to local animal rights group since they'll do a much better job

I know it's not real blood, and the problem whit PETA is that they are not for animals. Ok, let me re-phrase that. PETA is not for the protection of animals, they're for the seperation of animals and humans. Let me explain, 3/4th of all dogs and cats they get get's killed shortly after they receive them due to them having the beliefs that animals and humans shouldn't live together. Not only do they kill animals they claim to protect, they also put animals in shelters where they're treated like shit. Go read up on PETA

God damn it PETA. Well, they tried using sex appeal with Pam Anderson, now they are going for pure shock value. They are motivated, if not a little shameless.
