cash. Harder to trace, easier to use, easier to save, easier to spend. A card doesn't exactly have the same kind of lost compared to paper money.
are you running away from the government or something?

Hmm. I do have illicit activities that require cash from time to time, but no. Not in general. I just don't like the idea of how powerful the government is, and exactly how it can use your debit/credit cards to locate you.

Which one do you use the most and why?

I would say my card, I'm too lazy and too clumsy to juggle with the bills and coins all the way in the bottom of my bag. It sometimes gets annoying when you need to tip people or when you go to a places that doesn't accept cards....but I also find myself spending MUCH more frequently with a card

I guess I'd have to use the card more, the more you use your credit card and make payments on time, the higher your credit goes up!

I usually prefer using my card on my own, however if I'm out with people, I often bring cash. This is usually because it's easier to split bills or buy rounds, or on a wim order food to a house (PIZZA!). Cash is usually more flexible that way.

cash. every penny spent on a card is not only tracked by the irs but, data on your spending habits is sold to 3rd parties by the bank that issued it. cads are infamously easy to hijack and horrendously hard to sort out when it happens. cash is more secure. an ounce of gold today will buy pretty much the same thing 25 years from now and is accepted everywhere, gold is king

Cash. if I use my card it's because I"m going to pay it off IMMEDIATELY. I HATE DEBT. I only use it to get points I carry a separate cash wallet so I can get it in my humongous Bag of Holding

I like to keep a little cash in my pocket just for little things, or going out socially. Never more than a couple hundred dollars. I just find it lame to be the guy who puts happy hour on a card, or not have any cash for tipping.

For everything else, I put it on my card so that I can build up points. Although I learned my lesson in my 20's about spending money I didn't have and carrying a balance. Will never go there again.

Cards..no matter what. I like getting cash rewards back or travel points. I carry 4 cards based on the rewards and for certain occasions. It would have been only 2 cards, but I signed up for 2 more due to sign-up bonus/spending a certain amount..(200 (cash) and 400 dollars off for my planet ticket). It's free money.

Cash..tips or If I'm going out with a group and we need to split the bill (I always carry smaller bills for this crap lol)

Card. Debit cards here also serve as credit cards in the places that take both and don't charge debit fees. I keep cash on me for loose purchases, but the cash I carry on me is often results from gifts or debts paid back to me. So most of my shopping is done with card.

Card, but I do bring cash, most especially when particular vendors, despite this modern age, dont accept CCs. Also, usin' the card helps build up credit. Very useful tool when payin' something in arrears, such as a car, a house, or dealin' with business transactions. As long as the CC dues gets paid responsibly, its not a prob.
