It was 20 years ago today...

Was sung almost 50 years ago.

Rather strange if you think about it.

or would you like to be born in a time where you can spend your childhood playing with your robotic dog and taking family vacations to mars.

Essentially it means I'd prefer to live in a time where people aren't really dying of old age all that often (if at all), which is the biological immortality part. The post-scarcity economy part is a society in which goods and services are available in such abundance that pretty much everyone can have as much of nearly anything they want as they'd like to have without depriving anyone else of the same. To put it even more simply...

"YOU get a car, and YOU get a car, and YOU get a car, and YOU get a car..." for the entire human race.

Not at all. I like having rights/being able to vote etc. Even though at times I feel right now things are going backwards? I still wouldn't want to go back to any past time period.

Maybe the future though.

I wouldn't mind being born in a time when there was no technology.
I've had many PCs break, and lots of PC problems. It's so damn annoying.
So a time where I wouldn't rage over technology would be nice.

The time when there was cowboys seems like an exciting time. Though I'd have to not fear death then :P
Or the stone age.

Yeah. I'd love to have been born in the late 18th century. But then again, there wasn't much tech. So many far far future? after a peaceful treaty from the almost-guaranteed war with whatever alien we first make contact with.

And then you need invasive surgery, and you're like "Aw, shit. Just any jackass can call himself a doctor right now, and they haven't even really gotten all that good at working the kinks out of administering anesthetics yet."

On the upside? You could do pretty much whatever you wanted as long as you had the muscle and the guns.

Don't tell me, you saw the Disney movie this week, huh?
I wanted to go, but thought it would be too crowded over Memorial Day weekend, and it was rainy the rest of the week.

Male or female?
If you're a female, I doubt you're ugly xD Lots of girls say they aren't pretty, though most of them are pretty cute ;D

Early 1900's seem ideal... like the time and place Anne of Avonlea was set. Simpler times. One-room school house, trains and carriages everywhere, tea parties in the summer, tons of nice petticoats, pulled up hair with little hats. Times where me court women and they take long walks for a date.
