my lovely ride a time ago..
  in malaysia people called it Proton Satria (based on Mitsubishi Mirage model) converted to 1.8 GSR turbo engine.. not much modded done on the engine.. only change to stainless steel piping intercooler, vr4 intercooler, hks sqv blow off valve, hks evc II electronic boost controller, aftermarket fuel regulator, Apexi SAF-C, Apexi RSM, Apexi Boost Meter, Tein Hi-Lo Adjustable Absorber, Evo3 TwinPot Front Disc, VolkRacing TE37 16" rims.. n bla bla bla.... sell the car and buy this car  from turbo to NA engine... mods - only hi profile racing camshaft with aftermarket adjustable cam-pulley, re-chipped the ECU, exedy racing clutch, lightened flywheel and GAB adjustable absorber.. n now the car also sold, come to uk to accompanied my wife..she's continue her studies.. hopefully i could buy either Subaru Impreza ver8/9 STi or BMW E46 here then shipping to malaysia.. pray 4 me guys...  |

I agree..why get a turbo to run only 1-2 lbs of boost. the thing is, he cant. most wastegate companies dont make below 0.250bar (3.626 PSI) springs. You cant run boost lower than what the wastegate is set to or else your NOT running boost at all. another thing he mentioned is that he has a stage 2 clutch from AEM... AEM doesnt make clutches. he doesnt even know what motors in a type R. all he mentioned was a 1.8ltr "vtech" hahah. b18c5 noob ha ha.... noob--- what a wonderful word |

My car before I started working on it.
  Right now all she has is: 12" Kicker L7 Hifonics Brutus 1200watt amp Infinity 4 channel 1000watt amp Polk Momo 6 1/2" component speakers (in the front) Focal 6 1/2" spreakers (in the rear) Magnaflow cat-back exhaust and some tint (5% on the back three windows, 35% i think on the front two) and Dynamat in the trunk and doors. Although I'm into performance driving I did digress into the audio world because I got a good deal. and because I couldn't afford any performance parts for my car well not any of the ones that I wanted to get. But here she is a good day to day driver with a fiesty side every time she drives in the touge. P.S. thats not me in the car its my buddy, who at the time blew up motor in his mirage hatchback. |

Greddy may not make turbo kits for the Type R, but they do make them for the GSR and LS and they'll bolt up to the Type R. Type R's do come in 4 lug. 94-97 ITR (4 lug)  98-01 ITR (5 lug)  |
