I agree the anime and the manga have a slightly different feel to them. Both are outstanding and the difference is a good thing. Just my personal thoughts but the difference is how character's inner "emotional world" is portrayed is specific to the medium used. With the anime allot of that is portrayed using the added benefit of moving pictures including the care given to expressions and series of actions. Another manga to anime that seemed to have the same level of detail and care taken is Mysterious Girlfriend X.

Completely agree! This is why when I actually really like a series, I research everything about. Because I want to know what's canon! Mangas/Light Novels are much better at fleshing out the MC's/other characters motives (specially their internal monologues). Anime adaptations just don't have the money/time to do this. However, they do provide better visuals and don't need to explain the environment as a whole because you're able to see it.

BTW, I caught up with Yamada-kun and talk about excellence! 160 chapters in and the author's still brilliant. The downside is that now I've to wait a week for every new chapter (noooooooooooo). TBH, the coolest thing about the manga is that the author actually understands the mind of a teenager. Couple that with constant conflict, intrigue, mystery, supernatural powers and romance and you have a winning formula that can appeal to both genders. Yamada might be the MC but the girls are far more interesting than him (even though he has grown so much and now is quite capable of holding his own. Still love Shiraishi's remarks she's the best!). I'll give Mysterious Girlfriend X a chance. Thanks!

Be warned, Mysterious Girlfriend X is a slightly different type of story. It revolves around a couple and instead of supernatural powers it has an almost symbolic "supernatural" abilities between characters. It has allot more layers of emotional depth and uses allot of meaningful symbolism. To fully enjoy it you have to be willing to experience the deeper side of the interactions and experience the unseen emotional world. Don't worry about it being some dark super drama love story, it is as light and refreshing as Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, plenty of comedy and etc to go around.

I do believe that the manga is a lot better, but the anime is still funny and refreshing. There's one thing I did notice, like Yamada's and Shiraishi's relationship aren't quite the same. You don't get the same feeling I guess. The manga gives you a story detailed and of course applies time. With time you could defiantly see Yamada and Shiraishi getting closer and see their understanding for each other. In the anime they are getting close, but it's rush and I don't get the same feeling. Anime still does a good job doing it's best to adapt the most important things from the manga to the anime. Plus in the manga, everything is paced perfectly so you would be able to notice each and all the characters growth. The characters have their own charm, plus I laughed a lot more in the manga than the anime so far tbh. I do hope that this anime gets a second season since it's amazing. I'll always enjoy the manga a lot more but the anime would still be in my heart. Really glad everyone's personality is the same. Plus the cast is perfect as well.

Does having more than 5 differences affect the chances of you winning? Would I have the same chance as someone who found hundreds of differences if I've only found 5?
