That's an interesting dream...XD

I'm almost always having the same dream: family and I move to a new house that makes me feel uncomfortable, something scary is in that new place but I can never see what it is...it always feels like I'm running away or hiding from someone.

When I don't have those dreams, I have nightmares and weird enough, I can always remember the nightmares from beginning to end (unlike the common dreams). Due to this, I always write my nightmares on my journal, the most recent one is very long!!! it took like 10 pages.

It went like this:

A classmate and I were walking in the woods and then we found an abandoned wagon, similar to this one but old looking:

For some reason, there was a guy there who looked at us with disdain, we didn't like him either. He was looking at the wagon too. My friend opened the door and found a paper that said something like this (don't have my journal to check what I wrote):
"Would you play the game of the wagon where all your dreams can come true or your nightmares become a reality?"

The instructions were simple, just get inside and close the door, make a wish and then press the only bottom there (it looked like an elevator from the inside, dreams have no rules lol). If nothing happened (no movement, remember that it was like an elevator) and if we could open the door, that means that our wish would come true but if we felt like the wagon was moving the door will never open again to the same place we were before and....prepare for your worst nightmare.

So, my friend and I went inside, followed the instructions and nothing happened! we got out and we were at the exact same place as before, I was jumping of joy because my wish would come true! (my wish was that my mom would always be ok...I remember thinking 'damn, if only I had wished for the lottery' XD) upon opening the door to get out, the sun was brighter than usual and the place was very beautiful with singing birds and bunnies running around.

We didn't see the guy anymore. I turned to my friend and said "maybe he lost the game or he got bored and went home" but little did I know that I was going to find out what happened to him soon...

Oooooh.....I have to go (I'm working) so no more details....in sum: the next day my friend wanted to play the game again (so greedy) but I didn't want to because I felt like I wouldn't have good luck twice so she convinced another friend. Blah blah blah I got worried, told my brother about it and while we were having dinner I decided to call my friend to see if she was ok, she answered and I took a sigh of relief but no! she was just getting inside the wagon! I told her that it was too late, but she insisted on playing. For some reason, I could see everything happening to my friends and my brother too...it was like the connection with the phone took our souls inside the wagon to see what was happening (dreams are weird!!) like we were there but weren't really there.

Ok, fast forward more blah blah blah, my friend pressed the bottom and the wagon started to move downwards, they immediately tried to open the door but it wouldn't open! they hugged each other and started to cry...I remember looking at them with sadness because somehow I knew they were going to hell.

The door opened and they were in hell. They reluctantly got out of the wagon, everything was dead quiet. The sky was black, the mountains were rocks, rocks everywhere... no earth, no animals, no water, no life (and no fire either). They were lamenting and crying until we saw 4 people coming their way. Their faces were masked with pure hate, they came for my friends and one of them was the guy I saw in the beginning. This part was horrible, I saw how they all grabbed my friends by the hair, hit them until one of them died and the other one was beheaded. Then they looked straight at us! (my brother and I) and started coming for us! I remember that in the dream I said "impossible, we're not really here!" but I felt when one of them touched me and my brother hung up the phone which took us back home...we found ourselves eating dinner with the rest of the family. My brother looked at me with fearful eyes and we knew then that the connection with the phone put us on the same place as my friends. We played the game and lost.

The rest of the dream was how we didn't want to sleep because we would go back to hell when we close our eyes and those 4 people would look for us and kill us. But sleep would always find its way and it was taking a toll on my brother who started losing his mind little by little every time he woke up (which means the guys couldn't take him but some things happened to him) many times we weren't together. The last part I remember running and finding a small clinic. The clinic was full of lost souls and the doctors were there to cause pain. The people were there to be tortured. I saw blood on the floor and walls, limbs scattered around and then, in the middle of the room, I saw my brother sitting on a chair with his head down. I went to him and grabbed his arm "we have to go before they find us" but he whispered to me without looking at me: "I found a way to end this nightmare, there is a paper in the office there...go bring it, that's the key". The way he said it scared me but I believed him so I ran to that place and went inside the office...

I woke up.

I was sooo mad lol I wanted to know if I could save my brother and I from that curse....time to go!

I started setting up traps and stockpiling weapons but before I was ready, my family came through the door, smiling. They were holding a large, human-shaped bundle and the distorted sound of a crying baby could be heard echoing around the house...

and thats where it ended

I can't really call what I'm about to say a nightmare, but here we go...

So there was this one dream I had, I started at the edge of a lake the sky was red. I could see this women in the center of the lake on a small fishing boat, it looked very old like it was made a few hundred years ago..

This girl was possibly the most beautiful women I have ever seen, she was singing and for some reason I felt a attraction that made me walk towards the center of the lake and I couldn't breath. I kept walking even when I reached water, I walked further and further until I was underwater. For some reason I was stuck to the flooring of the lake and couldn't float up.

I kept walking towards the singing, and eventually woke up coughing.

There might be something wrong with me, but I've never had a nightmare. Either that, or I can't remember it.

Not a nightmare, but even though I never had recurring dreams, I've been having one lately for the past couple of months that keeps freaking me out:
I'm wandering around from the last storyline, probably still in my pajamas, and walk into somebody's front door to check out the house. That's it. I don't know why, I never do that, but I have this urge to look around, check out the living room, check the refrigerator, even though I know the person may or may not be upstairs, and a few minutes away from coming down, asking me what the heck I'm doing and calling the police. So it's a question of timing in casually wandering back out again (without running), without leaving any traces, and it doesn't always work.
Yeah, I know. But two or three times, and it's got me worried. (And no, it's not sleepwalking for real, for obvious reasons in my case.)

When I was a kid, my dreams caught on to my wanting to wake up suddenly from a nightmare, and kept throwing me "fakeouts" where I'd get up and out of bed without breaking the nightmare (the tipoff was usually that the light was dim or the switch wouldn't go on), and depending whether or not I'd caught on, I'd wander down and turn on the TV, just to see what was currently playing in REM-land.
Ever been up late at night with the lights off and suddenly find yourself watching something really disturbing that you don't have the urge to click away from, or keep clicking back to? Yeah--Minimalism is scary.

im also curious on what you guys think dreams are?

in my opinion there just random peices of information that is sub contously(how ever you spell that ) being moved during REM cycle that is caught and interpreted by your contounce(how ever you spell that ). this explains why there very very unorganized and crazy.. your brain works with BURST of electric waves, so information is going to end up in places that its not suppose to right?

You're basically sweeping out all the subconscious short-term memories you need to discard or refile, and since your conscious mind isn't working on dopamine, your instinct is to make some actual sense out of them, by putting you in a position where you think, "Oh, right, that's why."
Much as I would like to think I'm getting abstract visions from the gods, I realize I can trace individual elements back to what I was talking about or watching on TV that day, usually in chronological order.

(And that if I have a dream of being back in high school after X years and can't remember my old locker combination, it's because I've been too lazy about a current project, and wish I had my old schedules back again.)
