What's so bad about a cool Austin Powers in space, baby? You're all just jealous of the pompadour.

I found Space Dandy's review of Terraformars to be quite informative.

I hated it at first, but its dub was the first slot on Toonami, which made it hard to avoid if I wanted to watch the other shows. I didn't like the second episode, either. Then, somewhere during the zombie episode, it got really funny. I actually liked the series by the time season 2 started, and I loved the second season more than the first.

The bottom line is that, even if the first few episodes didn't catch your curiosity, this series really deserves a second chance.

I watched the first three or four episodes. Overall I felt it was one of those series I'd end up watching solely because of who created it and not because of the actual content. So therefore I decided to stop watching it. It indeed let me down.

Can't say I hated the earlier episodes, but I have to agree the show got better as it went along. It's no "Cowboy Be-bop", but it was a pretty entertaining show. I thought my favorite was the high school episode, probably because it skewered the whole "High School Musical/Glee" craze. You need a sense of humor to enjoy this show.

Watanabe isn't a one trick pony; if you got in expecting ''The new Cowboy Bebop'' and dropped it because it wasn't, then it's your loss baby.

First season has some hit or miss episodes, but the second one is definitely worth a watch. Each episode is so different that I don't think people who dropped it after the first few episodes are in any position to judge it.

As a whole, it's highly artistic and easily has some of the best comedy of 2014

I agree the second season was indeed better, my favorite was the trippy underworld Dandy experience.

But it did took me a while to get use to the sillines that is Dandy and his crew.

Watanabe work are pretty good but there were numerous director in this show alone.

I read some reviews and I'd been following bits and pieces I saw online before it came out and I already knew it was going to be an "animator showcase" of sorts. It was certainly interesting but the first 5 episodes for me were really weak aside from sound quality. i really dug the music and ambiance, i did not dig the gratuitous breasts and kinda weak plots. I felt like later episodes had a way better feel to them, and that might just be opinion/bias/whatever but i really enjoyed what they did with having different artists, animators and animation styles each episode. it wasn't really Let Down... maybe mislead would be better for me, personally.

Seriously dug Masaaki Yuasa getting an episode. It was neat to see such a goofy thing from him after Kaiba.

Thought it was initially alright but as it kept on. I dunno. I can't even remember that much about the show. The humour was very hit and miss for me. And as things went on, increasingly missing by quite the margin.

At which point there rather wasn't much reason for me to spend my time on that.

I wouldn't say let down as it wasn't a premise that held a lot of promise for me. Just.. Fluff that got boring ?

I also agree that the second season is better than the first, so I don't think people who didn't make it that far should judge the show too harshly. I think for most tv shows, books, and movies the beginnings are always the hardest part to get through.
