I wasn't expecting anyone to believe that.

I eat animals for lunch and dinner.

what is fucked up about bringing awareness that people don't treat animals very well...?

There's nothing fucked up about trying to help animals, infact I think PETA should start doing that and not lie in everyone's face.

The problem whit PETA is that I don't see them helping a single animal. For instance they always talk about helping animals, but when you take a look at their actual history then you'll start to question everything they say. For example their animal aid centers are extremely small to the point where many animals dies inside their "aid centers". Then we've also got the fact that PETA have a history of trying to objectify who and who isn't a animal lover by making assinine PR nightmares whit claims like "Pokemon is training people into becoming animal slave drivers" and "whaling in a game promotes IRL whaling"... And they've even made a games, a game take a lot of time to make and the money they spent on those games could've been used for animals instead of their crappy "parody games".

See what I'm saying? PETA doesn't care about animals and I think it's fucked up how they try to go out whit the message "we want to help animals"... Do some reserach on them before defending them https://www.petakillsanimals.com/

If only PETA members cared as much about humans as they do for animals, maybe they could actually do something worthwhile with their time.

I agree so much. They just hate people, it seems. It is one reason why they never really accomplish any good. The way they go about things...their efforts are counterproductive with what seems like 100% of the time.

There's no way to put it into practice, so what is the point in this crusade? I assume they just want to remain in the spotlight and try to do/ say anything to get the attention of the masses.

I did't know sheeps could understand and get offended by this (now I have to apologize for every animal around me or they could sue me)

Hope they can do what they should do, and not be like this also saying against fur or wool (why is that wrong? unless done in the wrong way?)

Lol what are you going on about?

This:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8309156.stm

It really ruins a joke to explain it, but here's the premise:

-Fictional you is a Swede who is angry that Sweden was called out for using hunted rabbits as biofuel.
-I then proceed to explain why what was being done was perfectly acceptable while feigning indignation about what was being done.
-In the spoiler I explained that I understand this really has nothing to do with your opposition to PETA.

[W]itness 2 saw this [X] worker … punch a sheep in the head, bouncing his or her skull off the hard wooden floor at the [X] shearing shed. Witness 2 then saw [X] hold the sheep’s head in his left hand as he punched the animal in the head, three more times, bloodying his knuckles and the sheep’s head. Witness 2 heard [X] repeatedly yell, “F**k” and then saw [X] stomp on the sheep’s head, twice, audibly bouncing the animal’s head off the hard wooden floor. After again yelling, “F**k,” [X] punched the sheep in the head a fifth time – again bouncing the animal’s head off the floor – and kicked the sheep in the torso. Witness 2 saw that the sheep bled from the head following the sustained beating and that the blood pooled on the floor.

“If foul language were the worst that sheep in Australian shearing sheds had to endure, then no complaint would have been filed”
, says PETA Australia Director of Campaigns Jason Baker. “This is simply another example of the industry trying to distract from the very real issue of sheep being abused by shearers.”

Again, media twisting the true nature of the complaint, it's not surprising that people try to demonize PETA.

I have more compassion for animals than for humans, they can't defend themselves (from humans). Humans have the ability to defend themselves if they choose.

Sure. But I have no compassion for PETA or their insane antics and hypocrisy.

When I first read this, it sounded like Peta wasn't allowing animals to swear, haha.

I feel like Peta needs to stop wasting their time with senseless crap like this, and maybe focus their energy/money on actually helping animals. Instead of just looking stupid.

I call my cat a lil shit all the time. He is one. He knows it.
