Lack of socialization and communication since I was five years old. I just can't socialize with people, no matter how much I try.

Plus people don't like me for some reason...maybe because of my quietness.

That sounds creepy. Are you sure you;re not possessed after watching all them horror?

How is watching people.... celebrating Christmas horrifying?

I thought that in their context, it would be something nice...

Did you have any semi-conscious nightmares?

I don't think that I am anti-social but I am an introvert which some people see as the same thing. I don't mind talking with friends but I don't do small talk with people I don't know. I like going places with friends but I don't like when there are too many people going as well whom I don't know. I don't like being alone but I like having time to myself. I enjoy one person activities, especially reading but I enjoy watching movies with friends. Friends are not hard for me to make, I just don't like introducing myself to everyone.

This for me. I'm pretty lonely because of it.

Same way that watching animals speaking is horrifying. For example, Madagascar made me cry. Nah, i'm just kidding..but i got close.

I think I am(I don't say I am and turns out I'm not lol). I don't talk much at work, when I was in school, even at get-togethers. I didn't like going to parties cause I knew I get bored. Even when I went to punk shows did really socialize with people unless I was with friends or knew some one there. as for why... I don't know maybe it's because I'm shy?

You are not joking right?.... Watching animals speaking is terrible though...

But anime animals and aliens which speak are excused.

I do. Not afraid to admit it.

I won't say "anti-social." It's more "introverted." But no one can really tell...I think. I blame an overprotective mother, too many times moving and 20+ schools growing up.

It's all a bit alien. Why are you comfortable with it?

Probably to some degree. I'm definitely introverted, and though I do have a reasonable number of friends and a satisfying social life, I will admit to a certain amount of anxiety whenever I have to speak to someone I don't know or be in crowded places. I've mellowed out a great deal over the past ten years or so, before which I would literally freeze up doing something as basic as talking to someone at a shop counter, and while I've learned to act in a more confident and sociable way, I'm just not the type that prefers to live like that.

I am alright when I talk to close friends, but when it comes to people I don't know, I usually get some anxiety, and never know what to say. I don't like to start up small talk, but it just turns into it, than it feels awkward when it is just me and that person. It is hard for me to get close to people, because of my quietness and anxiety, and probably my lack of confidence.

I can be talkative with people I've known for a long time and can relate to pretty well, but otherwise, I'm usually realllly quiet.
Posted 5/28/15
Not entirely. I prefer being alone. But I am the talkative one when I am around people who i am comfortable with or known for a long time. I can honestly say that I have no such close friends besides my sister. I do however have colleagues that I occasionally hang out with. Other than that, I do get pretty nervous when around people I do not know. But when I have to do some sort of presentation, then forget my awkwardness or shyness.

I'm not a huge talker but I wouldn't say antisocial. I would say I'm more awkward because I'm not a huge talker. I don't mind talking to people but the past couple of years I've been more isolated so this is what I am now.

I think I would say I'm antisocial. I hate being around large groups of people even if they are all people I know or even my own relatives. Whenever we have a bunch of family over I always prefer just being by myself instead of talking with anyone. I just get really uncomfortable for some reason and spend my time alone watching anime or playing video games. Plus I'm just pretty quiet and laidback in general.

I don't want to be antisocial, but my social anxiety labels me that way.
