It's good she has a voice and using it, but she could use it for something more important and meaningful.. I mean all she wants is to change the school dress code, which was put up for a reason due to a common incident. Really, the school policy is protecting them, not sexualizing women at all lmao

While I deem dress codes as archaic and completely unnecessary, walking around exposing your stomach doesn't exactly help promote your case for change. I get expression and all that jazz, but it's school... you're there to learn your shit and move on. Whine about how shitty our education system is. Kids these days could put their voices to better use, as noted above. At the very least for things that actually matter.

Right idea, poor execution and understanding of things on her part though.

Nice. This is great. This girl is great.

Getting dresscoded in school is often unreasonable & unfair its frustrating.
I got dresscoded one time in middleschool when my bra strap was showing also in highschool, for "showing too much cleavage" like damn sorry I have titties.

Dress code is great. Less thinking about what you want to wear everyday. And less people trying to one-up each other with their version of 'fashion'. And I don't know of any public school that has a dress code. If you're going to a private school, then deal with it because that is what you signed up for.

Also from the linked article, the most stupid and baseless thing I've read today:

Most public schools, or all really, have a dress code. Just not in the way you are probably thinking of. (like issued uniforms and such)

She is from Canada and it has a pretty good education system. I guess she had to find something else to complain about >.<

Ah, I see what you mean here. I was indeed thinking of uniforms there.

But it's also good to have rules on what you can wear so that everything remains school appropriate. Current fashion trend, from what I observe, seems to be heading to less and less coverage/clothes, and there's a line to where it crosses to school inappropriate.

It's not much better than the US really. At least not at that level. Some progress is better than none I suppose though.

I have no words for this stupidity. Wearing school uniform is dehumanizing? Fuck me, we got kids who wish they could go to school and have an education, then we have entitled, deluded idiots that clearly spend too much time on tumblr making this stuff up. Sexist and rape culture how? They dress half naked, get more attention from boys because, it's simple biology which isn't sexist, but they use that excuse to try push forward their agenda forward. You don't hear guys complain when girls are creaming their panties over whatever guy is on their magazine or when they share pictures with each other on social media, but we could using the exact same so called argument. And I know it's not all of them, my younger sister is a moron but no on these kind of levels.

I mainly think it's a phase, these people will look back and wonder just what the hell they were doing. But until then we have a bunch of entitled idiot's that want to dress like they're going to the beach, and everyone must be okay with it otherwise 'omfg rape culture'. It's no wonder they're not happy, they have to try compete with everything and anything, they're just not happy. Who want's to be with someone loud, obnoxious and has no respect for themselves.
