Is it true that Japanese people don't like dancing in public after a certain time of night? And do Japanese people really fall asleep a lot on public transport? I read that in NEO magazine...just wondering

How serious do Japanese teenagers think about marriage, not the organized form where your parents pick out your partner.

I am probably most fascinated by the vending machines. Not just whether or not you've seen one selling panties (but really, have you?), lol but also I hear ties, and in anime they have hot coffee and soup? Seriously how hot is it you would think it would risk exploding. Well basically anything you don't see in American vending machines I would be interested to hear about.

Have you tried Natto? If so, do you like it? (I like it, personally)

When I finally got the opportunity to try natto, I was extremely disappointed. All the hype makes it sound supernaturally revolting. I honestly thought it was rather bland.

I heard that some of the hot springs and bath houses have been banning foreigners from using them because of sanitation concerns, how common is this becoming?

It's actually Romaji (without the "N"). I used to make that mistake too. Hiragana is easy to learn. It took me about a week to get it down. The Katakana is annoying though. Kanji can be easy or hard. So far I know about 1,400~ (without the readings), but by the end of June I'll know 2,200.
