Looking for action romance anime. I'd like for there to be a good romance like in Sword Art Online (in my opinion anyway) but i don't mind harem style if the anime itself is good. Most of the ones i've seen are harem anyway.
Here are ones i've seen and enjoyed:
Rosario+Vampire (not a fan really)
Hagure Yuusha no Estetica (one of my favorites)
Freezing (another favorite)
Legend of Legendary Hereos
Sword Art Online (another favorite)
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!
Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai
Maoyuu Maou Yuusha
Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou
IS: Infinite Stratos
Bonus points if: The MC is not useless and if he picks a girl in the end.
Strike the Blood - Echhi/Horror/Action/Scifi - Harem with a definite end resolution
Steins; Gate - Action/Scifi - Main couple romance goes through the movie and OVA also reaching it's resolution
Future Diary - Horror/Action - Main couple romance reaches it's resolution in the OVA
Captain Earth - Scifi/Action/Slice of Life - 4 couples romances incuding the main couple's all reach their resolutions
Btooom! - Survival Horror/Action - main couple romance reaches it's resolution
Chaika the Coffin Princess - Fantasy/Action - Harem reaches it's resolution
Testament of Sister New Devil - Ecchi/Horror/Action/Comedy - Despite it being ongoing, the "Harem" reached it's resolution early on
Nobunagun - Scifi/Action - Main couple romance reaches it's resolution.
Tokyo ESP - Action/Superhero/Scifi - Main couple romance reaches it's resolution
Brynhildr in the Darkness - Ecchi/Harem/Scifi/Action - This harem reaches it's resolution almost from the beginning
Arpeggio of Blue Steel - Action/Shipgirls - Yes it's a harem and yes it reaches it's resolution in possibly one of the most touching scenes ever
Speed Grapher - Ecchi/Horror/Mystery/Action/Scifi - Main couple romance reaches it's resolution
Another - Horror/Mystery/Action - Main couple romance reaches it's resolution
Ryoko Case Files - Ecchi/Mystery/Horror/Action/Scifi - The romantic tension between the main couple is perfect and ongoing
Denpa Teki na Kanojo - Mystery/Horror/Slice of Life/Action - Main couple romance reaches it's resolution
While, I can attest to the romances of all the above being well thought out by the writers and both the girls and the guys on equal levels, I can say the one title I listed that doesn't have a resolution may just be one of the most romantic dances of all. It's very Mulder/Scully X-Files-like except with even more sexual tension and a "Scully" who's on the prowl for her prey. Ryoko is a fun character .

Is it wrong to try and pick up girls in a dungeon is good because its similar to sword art online and its really good.
Waiting for dont hug me im scared 6...
Eurerka Seven: Some of the best character development out there, and an excellent romance. Given your description, you'll love this show.
Gargantia of the Verderous Planet: Nice, short sci-fi series with a solid conclusion.
Dragonar Academy: Typical harem anime in a lot of ways, but the ending is better than most.
Mahoromantic: A bit older, and it the conclusion is hotly debated, but it certainly reaches one. Very solid until that point.
Familiar of Zero: Four seasons of this show (CR only has the last one; all are on Hulu); over-the-top tsundere, but otherwise an excellent harem anime with a great ending.
Ah My Goddess: A bit light on the action, but it's still there, this is a classic for a reason.
Angel Beats: More dramatic than most of these, and it's a bit rushed towards the end, but still a great show with a great ending.
Happiness: A lesser known show; a bit magical girl, a bit harem, a pretty good romance, a solid ending.
Otome Youkai Zakuro: I love the art and music of this show; the romances (plural) are solid, the setting is interesting, the action scenes are well done, the conclusion is satisfying.
Valkyria Chronicles: A much different show than perhaps most things you've seen--but I don't think that's a bad thing. The romance and character development here are great.
Srike the Blood: Good action, solid romance. The ending isn't the tidiest around, but the last episode does a very clever job of giving you an idea of where things are headed, which makes it satisfying none-the-less.
Inuyasha+Inuyasha the Final Act
The Legend of Condor Hero(technically not a action anime parse, but the action/fights in it, are some of the best, in the entire history of anime)
Kaze no Stigma
Thank you for all the recommendations,i have a lot to watch now!
