I'm not very smart around computers but I was wondering should I do it? There are some questions I have about it to, plus im ok with not using my computer for a bit.

-Can I still use my computer when its mining and can I just simply close it down and it would save the progress.

-Does it make the computer use extra battery life.

-My computer is a few years old and the battery is broke (It shuts down when you unplug the charger) Could my computer cope with the requirements of mining.

-Can I sell the thing before bitcoins (trite coins or what ever it was)

Thats all I have to ask (for now anyway).

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help me with this, thanks.

Bitcoin mining usually needs a good gpu for efficiency and most computers unless optimized for bitcoin mining really can't mine it

It used to be profitable a long time ago but mostly not anymore. In your case the electricity is going to cost more than what you get so it's worthless. Don't recommend it.

there are far greater things to be doing with your computer than trying to mine bitcoin,

keep in mind that the currency is stored on a HDD not a server

not many shops accept bitcoin

most bankers or currency converters and such require a large amount to be transferred into a bank account

if it was that easy to get money online more people would do it
