So how bad is the divide between the left wing in Canada? The NDP seems to be shifting to the centre and the Liberals are moving to the left, again. At this rate, Harper and Tories will be voted back into power if the left splits their votes.

I think the populace just wants Harper out. there's a growing movenment to vote for the candidate with the best chance of beating the local Con regardless of party. The leaders of the liberal and NDP parties would do well to remember CANADA and not their own party interests. The enemy is Harper.

It is still early. Not to happy with any of them. It IS sad that after 8 years of Obama, Hillary now looks more moderate....

It would be Sanders for me if he had a chance, but I'll most likely have to settle for Hillary.

I'm going with Hilary. I'm independent but can't in good faith vote for any Republican since they decided to hold the country hostage not once but twice (first the national debt then the government employees pay) in recent years.

Holding your own country hostage is never a good thing under any circumstance .

If we don't balance the budget we will all be speaking Chinese in the next 40 years.

I have one last parting thought on that subject...

“Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche

Once again, holding your country hostage for any reason is wrong.

Not saying the quote applies to you, just to most of the Republicans currently in office.
