Starbucks

My friemd works there and hates working there. I'll go here once and a while, but mostly I make my coffee at home or go to a local independent coffee shop

Paying 5 bucks for a coffee... Everyday... I would not surprise that Apple buy the entire franchise.

In our college town--where we're green/progressive enough to support small main-street local businesses--the bumper-sticker slogan is popular:
"Make your OWN darn coffee."

I only go for the banana nut bread, and usually just get milk with it. I hate coffee, and I especially hate the smell. People in my school are like like the average white girl, and some of them are not even white girls. Its like their life depends on it. let me quote someone I heard when they needed coffee,"uggh I need some Starbucks, I haven't had some since this morning", what had this world come to.

I don't mind Starbzz. I usually get the iced caramel macchiato, or chai tea latte, or caramel frappuccino.

Since there's another coffee business next to Starbucks called Dutch Bros, I get that more often cuz it's cheaper

Almost every university has some major fast food franchise in my area.

I hardly ever go to Starbucks, or even drink coffee in general. The only things I get at Starbucks are either the frappes or Vanilla Chai Latte. And when I do go, it's because I'm with someone that wants to go.

My university also has a Starbucks. I usually buy cookies or pastries since I don't like coffee.

I like Starbucks, it's convenient. The only other coffee place near my work is Tim Horton's, and that's just gross.

When there were only about a dozen Starbucks I got hooked on breve-lattes....
That was also the time there was only one Eddie Bauer store and I worked kitty-corner across the street from it. They still sold shotguns and ammo.

Now I go to places like Black Rock.... http://www.blackrockcoffeebar.com/ they're about a $ or $$ cheaper than Starbucks for the same thing. I'll go to any other shops that are good and cheap. There's a place on 128th St. SW in Lynnwood, Wa that has been there for about twenty-five years and they still make some of the best coffee for a dollar or two less than Starbucks. I think it's still called the Daily Grind.

I'll still go to Starbucks when I'm on the road and I don't know any other good places to stop.

I like the blended drinks but you're better off price wise by buying your favorite type whole (like the Pike's Place or House Blend) and blending it yourself with a simple $20 coffee grinder and some store-bought whip cream if that's you're think, and some store bought italian chocolate/caramel sauce ^_^ but I love to try out their special summer creations and their peppermint mocha.....oh dear...

Good point, actually. I shall reconsider my drinking habits.
