I have to play all of them because the RPG's I play have me control a party. I don't play MMO's or WRPG's but if I had to choose, I'd go for the one with the highest base attack.

MMOS have me stuck between subclasses. I usually stick to Melee and Range, but often go to magic. I love Duelists, Gunslingers, Bards, and bladedancers.

I prefer the option of being a Paladin, a defensive wall using healing magic to keep my allies and myself healthy while being able to defend them at the same time. It's quite fun for me. But most of the MMO's I've played don't keep my interest for long. So sadly no tanking for me.

I love support classes but I'm terrible, so I tank.

Then I tank and tank some more.

Rogue or assassin. I also love illusion-type casting magic.

Because making your enemies kill one another and then backstabbing the champion

is

awesome.

I prefer the warrior/healer/buffer hybrid chars that can work both as support in a group or solo. They're not as strong as a fighter, not as good a healer/buffer as a priest so they can help but will never be either a full tank or full healer.

I love melee dps, but I'll pull a mage/sorc every now and then.

Hmm I like being able to deal heavy damage so I normally go for a Warrior or Mage class.

Generally I play Healer or Tank. Also specialized classes such as assassins if it involves getting in, shutting down a specific target and backing off until it's time to rinse and repeat.

Most likely a warrior but it depends on the game, as there are lots and lots of RPGs that can play in different ways. I play Dark Souls a lot which is a lot different RPG compared to say WoW, and the line between classes can get blurry. In Dark Souls, I play as if I'm an adc in LoL. I do a lot of damage with my weapon, but I run little to no armor so I'm really squishy and rely on dodging to stay alive. I still play up close though because it's Dark Souls.

If I were playing WoW or a similar RPG, I'd choose a mage because it's not as much about individual skill but knowledge. Not saying they don't take skill, but it's a different skill set.

As with Fighting titles (Zangief, for example), I generally rely upon slow, but powerful melee characters. I'm in no rush to get someplace, and it feels cheap, cowardly to pick away at enemies from a safe distance.
