Hey CrunchyRoll online gamers,

I wrote a thing this morning about how to make the most out of your online gaming activities.
You can check it out on LinkedIn here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-network-online-games-christopher-austin-bryant
or at my own website/blog here: http://www.naustix.com/blog/how-to-network-in-online-games

Let me know wot you think in the comments here if you want, but I also want to ask:
What reason(s) might you have for not socializing in your online gaming? I know some friends that, despite this advice, just won't change their ways or try anything.
I'd love to hear your answers on it, and I'll be happy to reply as well.

Hope you all had a great weekend and a wonderful May~

the reason for me its just that some people could be annoying and sometimes people are just mute and don't want to talk

Thank you for your response- and I can see that. Do you think that's a testament of the gamer sub-culture? What about games that force interaction?

I just get so nervous i don't know how to start the conversation. I guess i don't want to be a bother to anyone.

I prefer not to talk when gaming but I like the banter that happens when you have a group of people. I tend to like being in lets say a group of 6 and they're all talking and i maybe say something once every 30minutes. which makes me weird but i'm self conscious about my voice.

I don't bother talking in games. If anything I'll use Teamspeak or something similar. In game mic quality is often horrible and delayed. It also depends on the game. Something that requires me to hear really well I will just mute up. (tactical games for example) Then you have games like MMO's that are more conversation friendly. Usually less annoying people as well.

I'm not too fond of high pitched voices either.
