That first one hurt me personally. But I respect the opinion

HAHAHA

Don't worry, I think it was a decent show.

*Sigh of relief* A LOT of these "worst anime ever" seem to be passable, ok, or even really good shows lol. I'm unsure if some of these people have truly seen a shitty anime, like School Days or Akame Ga Kill

Seems most people actually haven't seen a bad anime. Lucky them.

I'm sure there are some, but most can be taken at face value. School Days is a good example; many people hate it for exactly the reasons I love it. Savagely69's hate list can be a handy guide to quality moe. Etc.

Guilty Crown? Your opinion, of course, but that anime had some of the best character development to me.

Magical Girl Raising Project - Actually starts very strong. A magical girl team that includes a disabled girl and stakes that are on Madoka Magica's level (or higher) sounds great. Until they throw all that away, and even imply disabilities can be overcome with willpower.

I've seen MGRP but your description sounds more like Yuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru.

And that show, I didn't really like. Not the worst I've seen but your description is almost spot on with what I didn't like about YuYuYu. It felt like everything was for nothing since they got everything they sacrificed back. The drama felt pointless at the end because of it. Plus some of the 'drama' felt too cheesy.

On the other hand, Absolute Duo sucked at least for me.

I also regret watching the anime (with short episodes) called Final Approach. I hated the main girl so much. She was annoying, selfish, and she got away with it by shoving some stupid drama at the end.

And then there's Diabolik Lovers. Nice character designs, catchy music... but the romanticized abuse, bipolar or sadistic characters who doesn't feel redeemable at all, confusing plot, and the stupid MC made this terrible.

In terms of Full Length Series (22 minutes episodes of 12-26 episodes a season)

1. The Irregular At Magic High School.

2. Mayoiga

3. Handshakers

I am completely serious about Mahouka. Everything about this anime, this franchise, is repulsive in spades. I have seen works like Apocalypse Zero and Eiken, and plenty of harems that double down on wish fulfillment for the readers and perhaps the author, Mahouka is not only boring with meaningless technobabble about anything anything lacking in relevance, but also a poorly argued diatribe against the author's idea of what "equality" is, in the same vein of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and Theodore Beal's/Vox Day's Throne of Bones. They all want to talk about their ideas on the issues in real life, but they removed any aspect of realism from their fictional microcosms pertaining to said struggles to fit their own poorly argued and perverse view of the world. They removed the "what if" of alternate realities and scientific speculation for the more insidious "This is what is", having their protagonists fit their view, being opposed by the political strawmen of the side that disagrees with their views, without an accurate assessment or portrayal of the arguments the opposition has put forth, but instead twists the world to their liking, despite the utter lack of resemblance.

Honestly? This may be giving Mahouka's author too much credit. It seems to be a twisted type of wish fulfillment demanding his entitlement than fulfilling his desires; in fact, it seems that with how the plot is structured, it seems as if the world owes him something. He may be richer than me, but I cannot help but think "What a damn loser", mentality and all.

It has basic plot structure, things do happen, it isn't completely nonsensical like Pupa is, it is just repulsive in the same vein as, say, If I Did It by O.J. Simpson, plus the badly argued fictional works of Ayn Rand, plus any teen fanfiction of "Reader x (Favorite Character). It is badly argued, it is utter wish fulfillment, and to top it all off, the message the author believes in is downright immoral, or indicative thereof.

I can learn to disagree, but the lack of any cogent argument makes me despise this work far stronger than anything I have seen in anime. In terms of emotional output, I am surprised. Mahouka topping the list, despite being a relatively recent series, a popular series, a well produced series, is unexpected. Yet I can honestly say this without any doubt of potential hipsterism.

I completely agree with you about Handshakers. I only saw one episode and I just cringe a little. I can't with that anime.

I see a few people saying glasslip. That show was garbage. I think I got 3 episodes in when I bailed. Sorry for anyone who stuck with it.

Clannad was awful. I don't get why so many people pushed me to watch it. I hated every character in that show. I honestly enjoyed School Days more than this. At least School Days had a nice boat.

Well according to my list of completed anime, its

1. Taboo Tattoo (no idea how I even managed to get through 12 episodes of this garbage)
2. 5 Centimeters per Second
3. New Game

I also have Golden Time, Chuunibyou, Slam Dunk, and Anohana pretty far down there.

Most of the really terrible shows I just drop though.

Fairy Tail
Trinity seven

Also feel the need to mention The disappeareance of Nagato Yuki, we were deceived the entire season. I literally felt robbed of my time.
