I just hope the atmosphere is more akin to New Vegas than Fallout 3. I was unable to get very far in Fallout 3 because of how cliche the whole post-apocalypticness was, but Fallout New Vegas felt more like a western at times, and I loved it for that.

Are you kidding? Fallout 3's atmosphere was amazing, the ambience alone is enough to make you remember playing the game. How was it cliché? If a world gets nuked to hell that's pretty much what it would look like.

Would prefer a new Elder Scrolls game made by Bethesda.

I don't see why they sold the rights to Fallout and then bought them back, seems like a waste of cash. Also the next fallout better have more weaponry and decisions than fallout 3.

The trailer looks amazing, it's been too long since we had some Fallout and this looks like it's gonna live up to the hype. Looking forward to E3 to see some more gameplay.

Never properly played a fallout game so I don't know what to think. It looks alright but I'm probably not buying it.

Either way, I'll probably create a super-powered character and then annihilate the world.

It's not a Bethesda game unless we get to do that...which is why I still wish we could have sided with Mehrunes Dagon in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

I know...which is why it was pretty cliche. I've played a ton of games and watched enough movies to have gotten tired of it. Though I may give it another go, it's been a few years. Besides, I have it on this laptop, and it's been long enough that the modding community will probably have done more than a few things that will make me play through it all the way.

Yeah... I bet there will be tons of graphic mods anyway. Skyrim looks quite outdated without modding but with mods it can be made look amazing

I think you're just desensitized to the point where you think it's cliche. I mean if you probably didn't watch too much post apocalyptic movies or shows then you would enjoy the game more. When I played FO 3 for the first time and I was wandering through the places and ended up going inside a convenience store I freaked the fuck out when I saw a giant cockroach lol. After that encounter I couldn't touch FO 3 for a while until I had enough courage to start playing again.

Fallout 3 with graphical mods looks better than most "next gen" titles today,

so it's graphical status doesn't really concern me atm lol

You're probably right. Luckily I haven't read, watched, or played games with those in them for quite a while, so I should be able to play it again.
