The modification of actual Contract with the publishers that want protect the Videos by DRM by RTMPE protection, Crunchyroll have now protected even the mobile 480p version of the video the last year.
It just won`t happen.

No, even if you did, you would have to pay for the rights to use the anime show, and that's a lot of money....

Like the entire series? That'd could be cool. But then there'd be people who'd distribute it illegally on other sites.

Like people already don't do that? Oh wait...

Yeah but it's not ripped from CR. It's impossible to do that.

Name one anime which CR stream version isn't currently available in an unofficial 'off-line mode' out there. Just one?

Even if they did, I wouldn't really be interested in it. I like having DVDs. Even if I rarely watch them because it's more convenient just to watch my fansubs, CR, or even dig out the DVDR I burned my fansubs to (usually 50-80% of a series will fit on disc that way=less disc swapping). ...

Yeah, I understand the convenience of digital versions. I have a growing stack of discs and boxes and mangas, and a subscription to CR, but like yours my viewing habits tend to prefer the 'other side'' exclusively.

But why discs? Just why?. For your preferred deity's sake, WHY? Buy a large enough drive, another to mirror it as backup, and it's already vastly more convenient, more cost-efficient, saves a lot more room, less worry you'll lose something, than a large pile of discs you have to spend lots of time burning just to be able to use, instead of, you know, just connecting a cable...
