I am a big fan of Kimi to Boku AKA You and Me
it is a slice of life heart warming comedy romance set in a school with characters that you easily get attached to.
Out of all of the school anime I have seen I can't say anything has been quite like it.

I am trying to watch season 2 quite slowly so it won't end too soon, but obviously I do want to watch the rest of the series, and when I do I won't have any more of it to watch.

I was wondering if any people who have watched Kimi to Boku/You and Me had any recommendations for people like me who will soon face the void after finishing it.

Is there any anime quite like Kimi to Boku?
If so, I'd love to watch it after I finish

It must have lovable characters though :)

So, yeah, does anyone have any ideas?

In case you don't know what anime I mean, it's this one

Thank you

A couple other suggestions, although none of them are exact:

Hanasaku Iroha: Slice of life focusing on a girl who is forced to work at her grandmother's inn, her attempts to get along with her new coworkers, and her feelings for the childhood friend she recently moved away from.

Kimi ni Todoke: Mostly about an outcast, shy girl slowly becoming accepted: first finding friends, then finding confidence, and eventually romance.

Nagi no Asukara: Might have more plot than you're looking for, but it has a beautiful art style, and centers around four friends from an underwater village forced to go to school in the nearby surface town.

Aishiteruze Baby: Mostly a slower-paced, slice of life about a high school playboy who becomes the guardian for his abandoned kindergarten-aged cousin, adding in a bit of romance when he matures as a result.

Hyouka: Four friends band together to solve some of their school's mysteries; combination slice of life and young detective story, with a bit of romance thrown in.

It's a hard one to follow. I've yet to find anything that had quite that same satisfying tone that came from the very normal/realistic slice of life, no drama style the show had.

I'd suggest Non Non Biyori as something that comes close. It's all girls, not guys, but doesn't have the "cute girls doing cute things" vibe so many all-girl slice of life shows do. It did take me several episodes to warm up -- one character's actions particularly bothered me initially, but as that started being less a "thing" in the show, I warmed up to it and ended up quite liking it.

I recently watched Hatsukoi Limited and was pleasantly surprised how well it was written plus it had Middle school High school cross over kinda fresh and different. Only 12 episodes but subjects like self confidence and bodily image normal every day stuff kinda real similar to You and Me.

'Minami-ke' would be a good one for sure. Similar humor and pacing.

'Daily lives of highschool boys' is more comedy focused, but definately similar for obvious reasons.
