So here are some articles that say that Dragon Ball/ Dragon ball Z, a franchise beloved by MANY, should have ended after the Frieza saga. What are your thoughts on this matter? Where should DBZ have ended?

DBZ ended RIGHT WHERE IT WAS SUPPOSSED TO.

Each Arc/Saga contributed things to DBZ that the others did not. DBZ is great as it is. People need to stop trying to say it should have ended after the Freeza Arc...that would have been stupid.

So many things would be left unresolved if it ended there.

Cell Saga. Passing the torch on to Gohan. Poetic as hell. But no... Now if you claim Dragon Ball has good writing people will laugh out loud in your face.

Stopping at the end of the Namek saga would've cut out pretty much all of Vegeta's development as a character. Gaining enough perspective to look beyond his own interests, learning to be concerned about (even to love) others, learning the humility of having to accept defeat, all of that would go away.

I wouldn't want that.

If I have to choose, I think that the Cell saga would had been a good end point. Finishing DBZ at the Frieza saga wouldn't had been a good idea in my opinion.

Thank God I was not the only one who thought the same thing. Gohan was one of the most powerful Z fighters and the treatment he received during the Buu Saga was laughable.

I know the Buu saga had some serious problems (not the least of which was the humiliatingly ridiculous villain after all those really awesome ones), but I thought it did wonders for wrapping things up for Vegeta. I really think it was valuable.
