I see them as taunting bastards who if they really felt all of our military force wouldn't last but the media is trying and succeeding at sending the populous into a panic over a group who in comparison to countries like the U.S. and Russia is a drop in the bucket.

They are feral humans. Feral humans can be found all over the world and require a strong police presence that resists corruption to be dedicated to rounding them up and putting them in the pen as humanely as possible. Sadly, particularly dangerous feral humans must be put down.

(But honestly I think that they are extremists in every sense of the word)

You know Rand Paul said if we followed his foreign policy, there would be no ISIS, and you know what? He is 100% right.

But we can't dwell on the past, they've grown too much over the past 10-15 years and have a name for themselves. The Iraqi government has no moral to fight them at all, President Obama pulled troops out of Iraq WAY before stabilization of the region could begin, and they claim more and more territory ever week.

ISIS is a despicable, over-zealous, self-proclaimed caliphate who seeks to kill or convert all who aren't Muslim. I'm no military strategist, but something has to be done about them sooner or later.

They're an extremist fanatical group to me. They just want to force their extremist doctrine on others, and kill those who don't want to convert...groups like that usually don't last long, they get stamped out pretty fast (in terms of years).

They're the most incompetent group of secret agents there are. They cause more problems than they solve, and most of those problems were their own fault to begin with!

If you want something done right, you call ODIN.

Also, i think one of their agents killed a black astronaut . That's like killing a Unicorn! JESUS CHRIST!

ISIS is so afraid and without hope for the future that it's willing to kill everybody that doesn't want to join them in their version/vision of 7th century religion and geopolitics They're in desperate need of a diplomatic corp other than the barrel of an AK.ISIS is destined to be swallowed up by counter revolutionary factionalism or destroyed by a predominantly Shi'a Iran.Another unfortunate consequence ,(other than the real human tragedy) ,is that ISIS will be used by the west as a reason to deny more freedom to it's citizens and manufacture/distribute more weaponry in the name of "national security".The military/industrial complex will use them like a sword,(just like they did Al Qaeda), to further extend their bloated agendas at appropriation time.

Wait, as far as I remember... oh, okay, more power to you furries

jk

ISIS has tons of infighting, they will eat each other alive over time, the problem is more the time it will take until they stop and a bigger problem would be if one of the groups would gain enough power to unify them. As someone else already said, they are the result of the West fucking up the East badly.

GW negotiated the Iraq withdrawal for 2011 and the Iraq government under Maliki wanted all of the US troops out.

Sunni Muslims who were small children when the hell-on-earth that is post-Hussein Iraq began have grown up into able-bodied young men who are pissed as fuck at both the Western and Shi'ite worlds, and have learned through observation and experience that violence is both socially normal and the surest way of achieving political goals? Man, who saw THAT one coming?

They've taken Palmyra, a world heritage site. They're literally destroying world history.

In my opinion, the anti-ISIS fighters that are pretty much just civilians are some of the toughest people alive.
