Fillers and awful pacing.

The trend of giving most anime 1-2 seasons is only hurting some series, that really deserve 3-5.

Also, the horrendous price on anime blu-rays and dvds. Looking at you Aniplex.

Some translations r just soo wrong. Especially in manga. It's sucks to read poor translations. Also I hate how anime isn't 100% similar to manga. I dislike in anime how children of the main characters look exactly like the main character. Almost like an exact replica. I find it so weird. Also in harems how girls are in love with a boring plain looking character. Also i don't see much manga/anime where the characters r not in Highschool/middle school. Not enough animes where the characters r out of high school. Also portrayal of other ethnicities besides Japanese r limited. Most Americans in anime r blonde and blue eye which is not the only face of America.

With animes I don't like how a lot of the most really enjoyable shows are only 12/13 episodes long and always seem to rush the ending, leaving you wanting more because you know that it could be made much longer with more episodes

I agree with you, the ending of a series always seems rushed, and before you know it they're rolling the end credits.

Too many boring as watching paint dry "average, nice" protagonists with a density that would make black holes blush.

Cross+Channel has no anime.

Too many manga/LN adaptations that end not even halfway through the story.

Too many VN adaptations that get turned into a mess by cramming all routes into one narrative, often ending up with a harem, bonus points for turning the main characters into dense idiots.

The lack of a Cross+Channel anime.

Love triangles for the sake of drawn-out drama, especially in shoujo, bonus points if it's more than 30 chapters in.

"Romance" too often just means prelude to acutal romance, as for whatever retarded reason we hardly ever actually see the couple doing romantic couple stuff and it ends with them finally getting together at the very end of the story with the end credits where the romance should begin.

That Cross+Channel is never going to see an anime adaptation.

Comedy too often means hardly any story development.

4komas. Second worst format for trying to tell a story I've ever encountered. Why the authors attempt to have any story within those, beyond me, just use another format

Koruso Taichi (Cross+Channel) will never be seen in all his glory.

Authors who lack the will to keep the story flowing and then have to wrap up everything in the last few chapters because they got axed due to readers losing interest.

Crunchyroll's and Japans lacking interest in making stuff avaiable in Europe/Germany.

Lack of traps as the main heroines

Lack of Yandere characters, especially serious ones, especially specially male ones. (Or I am just looking in the wrong places, who knows)

That I'm very alone with my demands for an official translation and anime adaptation of Cross+Channel

This list is incomplete and in no special order.

Writing
Anime and Manga are stuck inside this box, and within it, you must write in a certin way. There are fanservices, clichecharacters and horrible dialouges. Very few, they barley exist, thinks and act outside this box. This means that anime/manga can be repetitive. Miyazaki was right what he said about otakus. We need more 5CPS, Spirited away or Death Note shows. I also think Anime and Manga could benifit from a more mature writing, where making characters actully act/behave like real people does. Offcourse not all shows, but a few could try this.

We dont always need another passive shy main character. Why cant a main character in a shounen just fucking kiss that girl instead of getting all red and shy? We dont need that girl that drools over the maincharacter but never does anything about. We dont always need that comical character that always does stupid things. I can go on forever... anime tend to be very cliche. We need more outside of the box thinking.

Sexism
Animes tend to be male-dominant, while females play lesser roles or tend to soley exist to pleasure guys. This can be very common. Sometimes, you wonder if the population is 90% males and 10% females. Even HxH from 2011 does this. In that exam, 99% of everybody are guys. And when girls usually shows up, the show alot of skin/little character or have big boobs.

Fillers
No need to say it. Fillers sucks, they always sucks are a waste of time.

Anime acknowledges so many historic and marketing paradigms that the plot suffers from a death of a thousand digressions.

Tired of the stereotypical "guy does something like seeing a girls' panties by mistake/ touches a boob (also by mistake)/ etc. etc. gets hits by said girl or girls and just goes along with it"

If every time you see an anime and you notice some random fanservice followed by female overreaction and violence and it doesn't bother you, most likely you are a girl or a masochist. I must say i am neither and do not enjoy the unwarranted attacks OVER AND OVER..... not entertaining and takes away from the feel of most shows i might enjoy otherwise

They should have a anime Genre that is first person, that would be awesome.

It sucks that there isn't one

Though one could argue the way the lip flaps are at the moment has its upside. I think it would look strange if they were smooth and matched the words with the amount of frames the rest of the animation moves at (though, admittedly, smoother animation in general would make that work and would be appreciated). It would also make dubs look more like dubs over old Japanese kung-fu movies.

As for what I don't like, though? Probably an overabundance of fan service in certain shows to compensate for everything else lacking. That and a fear of of trying to step away from the mainstream. We get a lot of samey shows because anime is, more often than not, aimed at a very specific demographic and struggles to bring in money as it is, but at the same time that disencourages creativity, and we get similar shows with a different coat of paint.

Filler is pretty annoying but it's manageable in most cases, far too many anime go unfinished, loads of anime shits on the source material (looking at you akame ga kill), also the market is dominated by crappy harem and fan service driven shows. (although i can get into one if it is actually written well and doesn't just attempt to compensate for bad writing with boobs). Also a personal grievance is when artists/writers/voice actors get swapped out during seasons, creates sort of a disconnect i think.

Don't really know any for manga cause i don't read a lot of it.

Anime clearly still has a way to go as an art form, although recently it just seems to continue devolving.
