In this day, has immigration became a problem in america or not?

Just granting citizenship is a slap in the face to every legal migrant that came to the states by the proper channels. Is the system slow yes it needs to be fix to allow it to keep up with demand. I used to live 60 miles from the border and every week people would complain that illegals were breaking into there property "sheds, spare houses" and the best thing the cops would say leave a note in Spanish and leave the doors open and hopefully they won't damage anything. For a small town we had less then 2500 people, 6 cops, but what we had going for us was a border patrol base that house near 200 officers. They were more useful than the cops.

For those who say welcome them and make the borders open
"San Francisco, California, and any other sanctuary cities" lets help all the poor migrants get there and lets see how many of your citizens are as welcoming after a year. Personally I would want the border more secured and the process of becoming a citizen faster paced.

For the ones in the US already have them go straight to the back of the line, pay a fine, and run a background check to see if they did any crimes and if they did deport them and have the country of there origin pay for it and if they sneak in again then hold them indefinitely till the country they come from pays for a ticket and the cost of caring for them.
Once the people who did things the correct way get in then we could work on there paperwork.

Well, if Mexico would have a similar open-door immigration policy as we do now then there'd be no issues and Americans wouldn't rot in jail without contact to the outside world. Also, if you look into recent history, back in the 1980s we tried amnesty with the intent of securing the borders after its implementation, didn't happen and was never enforced. By the way, this was signed by former President George H. W. Bush. So until people stop being lazy, this will continue to be the status quo that we'll all be stuck with, no change happening for securing the borders then deporting or granting anyone who wants to live here a free pass. However, now the Mexican economy is doing better so maybe we'll see American's trying to get a better life in Mexico lol.

Actually, I'm referring to people who live in the US illegally or in other words without a visa

Most of the illegal immigrants are just trying to make a better life for themselves and their family, and I'm honestly ok with that.
