It's mahn-gah.

All A's in the Japanese language are pronounced "ah".

If it was supposed to be pronounced main-gah, it would have been spelt Meinga, but it's not.

This: Since the Japanese "ma" is Mah, it's "Mahn-ga". If you're going to be a cultural carpetbagger, do it right.

(It also helps that I don't live in that part of the country where they pronounce Drama as if it rhymes with "Gramma".)

I say mahn-gah. I originally pronounced it with an a like in gramma, like Ejanss used as an example of the wrong pronunciation.) but I realized that it was wrong because of the way the Japanese language pronounces the 'a' vowel. I was able to switch because years of singing in languages I don't know but being instructed on the correct pronunciation makes me flexible to such things when I find out I'm wrong. I usually pronounce it as Main-guh out of laziness or not caring to say it correctly.

"Mon-guh". I'm just going with the proper Japanese pronunciation. It kinda bugs me when people say "mayn-guh", but meh. It shouldn't be a big fuss. Just a foreigner thing, I suppose.

main-ga, though now I'm seeing it in a whole new light... Oh well, I'll probably just stick to my way instead.

I pronounce it "man-gu", but I think the harsh 'a' is more of the horrible Yorkshire shining through into my accent.

Second example within the first ten seconds of this video is how I pronounce it (That's just due to it sounding "correct" in Australian English)
