I started reading Naruto in 2005, but dropped it after two years because of its stagnant plot. It was a lot like DBZ, except I couldn't enjoy it. I gave up on Bleach in 2012; it ran out of steam after Aizen's defeat.

I almost drop every manga/anime. Fate zero, Sao, naruto. I will drop an anime one episode before it ends if it's boring. Maybe u need a break before you watch it again. I come back to some of the anime I forget about or thought was boring

Yup, I drop at least a couple anime every season due to lack of interest. Some of the older ones I pick up end up the same way for that reason. Sometimes though it looks like they are just phoning it in so to speak, especially with longer running shows. When that happens I eventually just reach a point where it would seem like rewarmed leftovers of something that wasn't very appetizing the first go around. If I'm going to spend time watching something for entertainment, then it needs to be able to keep my interest.

I did watch through to the end on Bleach, but honestly the story was so drawn out it was getting downright sad. There were many times I had to set it aside for a while.

Yeah some I dropped because I wasn't really interested in the first place lol.

I dropped like a couple of manga because either the girl wasn't going to end up with the guy that I liked or there was too much drama happening. I drop an anime if I personally think it's not going anywhere and not picking up the pace.

I never drop any anime before and I watch out most if no every show that airs. I think the reason I can do that is because I refuse to miss out in a good anime. Just because I find it boring. 2 Because I watch School Days. And once you watch that anime. You realize the beauty of every anime no being like that monstrosity of a show. Once you see hell.... You see beauty in every other series. You could say School Days gave me Tough skin.

Sometimes to change it up I switch down to anime that only have 12 episodes then it gives you a sense of accomplishment that you finished a season. Any anime over 50 episodes is epic and sometimes you need a break or watch anime movie to get the feeling of beginning and ending

I think this sums up the plot of bleach, naruto, one piece, and gintama.

Which one(s) looks fun instead of boring?

Also I try not to drop animes. If they end up just being boring i'll drop it but I'll give them a chance because sometimes you need some time for the characters to grow on you or for it to actually get good.

Oh god, yeah. I'll have what apparently are really great shows recommended to me, give them a shot, and sometimes not even be able to get past the first episode. I mean, I know things start slow in a lot of good shows, it's just hard for me to sit still and finish something when I have so many other series I know I'd get pulled into instantly. Sometimes I feel like it's kind of a waste, but then again, who has time to watch everything they could possibly like?
