Any of you exercise by running and/or walking? How many days a week? How long per average?

I alternate between walking and running six days a week, with the seventh for rest. Seems to work fairly well for me. I average something like three miles overall per day.

I used to walk around 5 miles a day, back and forth to work. It's good exercise. Never got into jogging though.

If there's two things humans are better at than any other animal, it's walking on two legs and healing from burns. Walking is very human and I do it as much as possible - although within my limits, e.g. walking ~eight blocks to the store is good but I'll take the bus if I need to get to another neighborhood.
I don't run for exercise, yet. I'd like to, maybe.

You can't run and walk at the same time.

used to. nowadays its mostly jump rope cardio indoor and focus more on building endurance than muscle mass.

I walk quite a bit (No car, lol) Probably a mile or two on most day's, I used to run just for like a mile max on occasion. However if you count sprinting as running I do that from time to time just to get a vigorous workout, I usually sprint till I can barely walk, not the funnest getting back home

High intensity interval training is a favorite of mine. I find walking or running longer distances too boring for me. Alternating between sprinting and jogging is an extremely efficient way of burning calories. It can also improve both your anaerobic and aerobic endurance not to mention speed. Combine this with a few plyometric exercises and you will be very quick/sudden with your movements.

I haven't trained seriously like that in a while due to lingering fear of my achilles tendon and a nagging turf toe injury that won't go away.

I just do a lot of crunches, push-ups, and squats.

Running isn't really my thing, mainly because the sidewalks in my town are in a bit of a.... state..

I train alot, but fitness training is the most boring :p

When i have a fitness training day instead of legs or body, i probobly only run, walk, ski, bycicle and row totally 5 kilometers. Sometimes i go the the fooballfield and run 9 laps. That is a total of ... 3,6 kilometers. So i dont run alot. whatsoever. My fitness sucks, However, i always jog 1,2 kilometers as a warmup before any training. Its very little, but atleast its something. I do train 5 days aweek tho.

But i plan to increase my fitness to atleast 2km every training day, and lower the amout of muscletraining in order to burn more fat over the summer.

Yeah, I run. I run on my games because I'm too lazy to ever go outside. Does that count? I think it quite does.

Sadly, I can barely run. So I always walk.
Ever since I started Yoga as a PE class I never actually exercise & do cardio...
I'm flexible at least & stronger in my stomach, hip & thighs though I guess.

I used to run twice a week, but in the past few months, I've been focusing more on weights and compound exercises because I don't necessarily want to lose more fat.

7 days a week I walk for hours just listening to music. If I don't, I go crazy.
