I first heard about porn when I was in Grade 8 when I was around 14 years old. I started watching porn when I was 14 years old when I was in Grade 9. I started watching hentai when I was 14 years old. Is there anything wrong with that? I am not sure if watching porn at an age younger than 18 has made me more morally corrupt. I was looking at hardcore rape hentai as young as the age of 14. Do you think my parents were being irresponsible for me to watch those things when I was only 14 years old?

I personally don't think there is anything wrong with people under the age of 18 watching porn. Just don't show porn to 10 year olds however. I do think it is OK for people over the age of puberty (i.e. 13 or 14 years old) to watch porn because kids over that age are becoming sexually mature.

I hope this topic isn't too inappropriate for this site's rules.

I think porn is very damaging to all involved. It takes people away from God and makes us focus on our own primal sexual urges porn is a tool of Satan.

First of all did your parents know what you were watching? If they did then shame on them and if not shame on you for not asking questions. I'm sad to say I think that's how most of today kids get their info and if your a parent have the talk with them. I believe there's a reason why you have to wait until 18 to buy it legal although the Internet made it a lot more accessible for anyone.

Doesn't matter to me. If kids want to watch porn let them watch porn. I doubt it's gonna make things any different in their lives.

I don't see anything wrong with porn as long as it is consensual. Porn is only immoral if it is not consensual. In other words, porn is only immoral when there is a lack of consent in the two or more parties involved.

Sex outside of marriage is immoral as is watching sex.

Your question is so general, let me give you a general answer : NO.

It isn't ok for children to watch porn, nor hardcore rape hentai. Especially because they really really want to watch it. The reason being that they don't know the first thing about sexuality, so they want to know, 'cause children are curious (how cute of them).

Children are mostly healthy little humans, they're interested in healthy sexuality. And you nearly never find any healthy sexuality in porn or hardcore rape hentai. Which most of them won't know before watching it, and saddly what has been seen can not be unseen.

No because it has always been seen as illegal in many countries, including my own, and I couldn't agree more with it either, because watching any kind of porn (even the more "softer" variety) under the age of 18 is just morally wrong

This is an issue with parental supervision and child interaction. As a child I was introduced to porn at my friends house, this is how I was introduced to a lot of things as a child... As far as a Playboy magazine goes, I grew up in the country, so our neighbor was having a yardsale and he snuck me a Playboy lol.

This varies from person to person, personally I wouldn't allow it until the child was 16-17 years old, by then they understand what porn is and probably already have access to it. With the increasing amount of cellphone/tablet/internet usage by children, they are introduced to things sooner. Restricting internet access is a way to counter this (slightly) but would also hinder good use of the internet. (Me and my cousins would read up on things we wanted to "experiement" with in High School to know if it was safe and what not to do ect.

I had to learn things growing up, going through puberty and never understanding what is right or wrong and not being able to talk to my parents about it, I went through a lot on my own and it definitely effected me as I left home, relationship and life wise.

Desu @ your last post, with marriage and relationships every person is different and I completely agree. My exwife of 8 years believed porn to be cheating, however I never actually cheated on her and she cheated on me 11 times. Everyone is different.

-Edit-
I see quite a few posts about religious views of porn.

Porn is immoral for Christians, and many religions. This is a known fact, however this is the internet and a moderated forum, please do not push views or demean others regarding this. If you are a child talking about raising children in the future, you have quite a ways to go I am sorry but I can not take your view on this seriously if you are 13-18 years old.

If I know my child is mature enough to understand. Then yes.

Edit

Since I know my child is going to eventually watch it. Has soon has my child hit puberty. I going to introduce my child to porn and all the sex talk myself. I rather my child hear it from me than somebody else and do something stupid. And make sure my child understand.

I started looking at porn at a very young age, around 12 or 13. Of course, 30 years ago that meant sneaking a peek at an issue of Playboy that you found in your dad's desk. It's a far cry from the hardcore pornography that is available with almost no effort required to find.

I don't think there is any problem with an adolescent enjoying the beauty of the naked human form. However, watching hardcore pornography can give a distorted view of sex and intimacy; which could cause some kids to have trouble developing mature intimate relationships.

The word porn just sounds weird to me.

Porn.

Porn.

Pooorn.

Right?
